Want to be a top clan?

Hello to all.

The game has a funny bug. This bug been used by dishonest clans to gain an advantage. You can leave the clan and return in 24 hours. Then all the characters and Eddie who beat Odin and Baphomet will be available again.

It seems to me that it will be right if everyone uses this bug. Not only those who knew about it and hid it from the community.

It may cut down on dupes if you run alot of raids.

It's easier to simply collect dupes of key characters.

I hadn't heard of this.. it does seem like more trouble than necessary.

All this does is gives clans the ability to hire troopers

I don't know that I would call this ^^ cheating; it might just be thinking outside the box. It's kind of on NF to close the loophole IF NF considers ^^ to be a cheat.

It does sound a little skeevy, though... and I don't know how much effort it would actually save someone who is considering it. Because isn't this kind of like using Amulets, but less efficiently?

Every other week you can refresh basically half your toons with amulets, and if you can do it with less re-equipping of talis/overall effort than leaving your clan and coming back in. I guess advantage cheat (sorry, lack of a better word...) if you want to save your Amulets for Gauntlet... but if you're considering a gauntlet run you've got a lot of toons and shouldn't need "the cheat" to shortcut Raids to begin with.

Overall, I think the OP miscategorized who this loophole is "for," and some of the "top clans" are reacting accordingly. 1) It isn't necessary to reach the top, 2) the "top clans" probably aren't using it, and hadn't considered it. However, I don't think the "top clans" need to be shaming clans or individuals who think they might need extra help. I would just be careful if you are thinking you want in on the log-out/log-in strategy. 50/50 NF doesn't care, and it's NBD. 50/50 your account gets flagged because NF does. We can debate the actual chances all day, but given that it just SOUNDS kind of skeevy to me, I wouldn't personally take the risk.
