Pretty self explanatory: skill shards are handed out like candy these days, so how about not having them take up slots in clan and tribute souls? It would be far more exciting to open clan mythicals if I knew I wouldn't just be getting 15 skill shards that I, and many others, already have hundreds of.

Is it that they are easier to get or just that you have all your characters loaded so you no longer need as many?

Long term players surely aren't seeking many skill shard any more.. but.. they do come in very handy for sac events. I'll throw a couple hundred in the grinder during sac events.. then by the time another sac event rolls around I've replenished plus some.

SS are nice, but 15 for 5mm gold is alittle expensive.

I understand the idea of having a "lower tier" reward chance but I agree that for how expensive it is to open clan and tribute souls I would expect at least 5x as many skill shards.

It comes down to cost/benefit. Why would I want to dump that much gold for something that won't even net me 100k back or will be useful in the long run?

Don't say that or they are going to lower the drop rate of skill shards in frontier dungeons, lol! But honestly, I agree, they are now easy to get (I now have like 520+) since they are dropping from everywhere and it is a little bit frustrating when you get them from a clan mythical soul for 5M! I don't mind if they drop from a clan rare/epic or even a legendary but they should not drop from a mythical, period!

I would say no to having them in legendary as well.

I seem to be the only long time player that can't seem to get over 130 SS. Maybe it's because I only even touch frontier dungeons if an event requires it.

Still better than the 100 tribute.

Honestly, mythical clan souls don't drop any GREAT rewards other than when they drop gold. I mean why not several awakening souls, Catalyst Souls, Immortal awaking Soul.... etc along with the SS, Tribute, etc.

The 500 or 1000 ironite drops are nice .

mythicals are an utter piss take and way OTT legendary souls cost 500,000 to open so why not set the mythicals to 1.5m max or if they insist on keeping it at 5m then make the drops worth while....remove purchasable talismans from weekly raid reward souls, create a soul for final awakening shards, or put a random legendary awakening pack in the soul and get rid of legendary souls and replace with mythical.

I agree; it's rhe best of the loose when we open this in soul

I'm honestly more bothered about how poor returns are on Tribute souls.. especially at 300 ironite per. If it weren't for raid rewards dropping those frags, they'd be a black hole for ironite - well they kind of still are.

I'm in the same boat. I have a crap ton of lower tier toons I've not sharded and likely won't. Even so, my SS inventory tends to be on the lower end for a long term player. I also only do frontier dungeons when required by an event, so maybe that's why. I've also taken two long breaks from this game...
