Crush the Lord of Light for Soul Fragments to earn a guaranteed 4⭐ character!

From now until July 20th, 5 PM PT, each battle in the Lord of Light dungeons has a chance of dropping War Golem Soul Fragments. Collect 200 and you can redeem them in the Book of Souls’ Fragments screen for your very own 4⭐Assassin War Golem!

The War Golem joins the cast as a new 4⭐Assassin in Legacy of the Beast. This single minded killer deals true damage and doles out devastating Negative Effects! The War Golem also happens to be the first fragment event character that is awakenable! His abilities will grow in power as he is awakened - Fully awaken your Assassin War Golem to transform him into Sevastopol!

Sevastopol takes enemies down with hybrid damage, and has a passive ability that will prevent enemies from healing for 5 turns while granting Perfect Heal Shields if any enemy is stunned and Perfect Immortality if they are frozen![ /I]

Normally, when the fragments drop, you’ll earn 5 or 10 fragments, but if you’re lucky, you could earn 50 fragments from one battle, so don’t be afraid of that 200 requirement! Players who battle in Lord of Light Floors 11-15 will also be able to earn greater amounts of War Golem Fragments (10, 20 or 50) at an increased drop rate! Additionally, you can earn as many Assassin War Golem Souls as you can collect the fragments for, so feel free to grab some extras for your next big Sacrifice!

This Fragment event will also feature 4 Event Challenges which will reward a variety of items including XP Shards, Frontier Keys and Martyr Fragments.

Martyr Fragments are the event currency of our overarching Dark Crusades event that is running through July.

Extra War Golem Fragments can score you Brave Talismans, Trooper Awakening Shards and new Cosmic Crimean Militant Talismans!

The Cosmic Crimean Militant Talisman provides an exclusive bonus when equipped to Bastion, Sevastopol, or Warlord. This Talisman increases stats in battle, and reduces incoming damage. It will also make the wearer:


Immune to Permadeath, Perfect Death, Doom, Dark Ghost, Apparition, Innate Permadeath and Max HP Reduction effects. Permanently Increase Max HP on self by +100% and inflict Perfect Stun on up to 2 random enemies for 2 turns whenever this talisman becomes active. Grant Perfect Immunity and HP Regen to all allies for 2 turns whenever this talisman becomes active and after every action. Gain Accuracy Up for 1 turn and inflict Perfect Accuracy Down and Perfect Silence on a random enemy for 1 turn at the start of your turn.

Lilith Soul Fragments are a recurring fragment that is periodically featured in events, and may require you to collect them from multiple events in order to have enough to redeem a soul. Collect 500 for a guaranteed 5⭐ Lilith!
All Lord of Light dungeons will also have a 3x chance of dropping Rare Souls! Don’t miss out on this opportunity to get more Rare Souls while getting your guaranteed 4⭐ character!

Dragonscale Talismans are purple talismans with a 3 set effect. Equip them to gain immunity to all Non-Silver Burn Effects. It also deals one additional hit of Physical and Magic damage to all enemies based on your Current HP after every action. This additional damage dealt does not wake targets inflicted with Sleep or Perfect Sleep.

The T2 Gold Cosmic Talisman with the Thorn set effect has a 45% chance to give a Thorn Shield to all allies on Perfect Basic Attacks. The Thorn Shield: Reduces physical and true damage taken by 35%. Reflects true damage back to all enemies with a 35% chance to Inflict Heal Block or Permadeath for 2 turns.

Please note that after the conclusion of this event, collecting more Assassin War Golem Fragments will not be possible, but any extras you have can be converted to Precious Soul Fragments. Additionally, this character is not available in any other souls, so if you miss your chance to recruit this ally, it may be a very long time until you get another chance!

Love the concept behind this character, slowly rebuilding themselves as they awaken. Very cool.

Less cool is how many fragments are needed for the T3, they're more expensive than usual for these fragment events. Still, will end up with a bunch of Trooper Awakening Shards, Samurai and Powerslave keys, and up to another 3000 Martyr frags along the way. Best of luck everyone!

Interesting wording, but I assume this means it should "become active" if the character dies and is revived? Or perhaps you've got the right idea, and this is a work-around for them being accidentally turned off.

Basically at the start of battle and whenever the character is revived. Talismans are technically "disabled" while the character wearing them is dead - although in some cases, certain individual effects can persist if they include things like "until they die" when buffing or debuffing allies and enemies.

How much ironite has it cost everyone to get the T3 cosmic and golem?

I'm just growing weary of every week.. or every other week.. it's all about sucking more money, time, and resources from players. There are never any events that just give back to players any more.. I mean.. remember free BNW weekends?? Remember when anniversary and immortal events were a boon for rare characters?

They have really lost any consideration for players.

I for one.. have started devoting time (and money) elsewhere...... because all LOTB has become is.. spend.. until the next opportunity to spend starts.... RAID is practically the same app without the Maiden thing.... and without a constant need to spend spend spend spend to keep up with a way too rapid power creep.

Unless I am having terrible RNG frag drop rate, at about 400 runs I have 1100 frags and a golem. At that rate it will take almost 1200 runs in 3 days. That is a crappy event., add a few more days and it wouldnt be so bad.

I'm at 398 runs with 2760 total frags earned but I did a lot of that at in either XI or XV. XV seemed to be the most frags in a key(for me) but is obviously a lot more expensive.

I'm at 384 runs all in lol X, 1335 frags total. Gonna do a load of lol XII and see what that gets me. Was hoping for the T3 and the Braves, but I may have smoked too much crack.

You can only buy 5 of each sub-type. There are 3 sub-types, so you can get a set of 6, you just need to buy different subtypes.

Generally LOL XI is the most efficient option for fragment events - the drops are much better than LOL X, and it works out better value than LOL XV because you can get over twice as many runs for the same amount of sands.

That being said, 600 runs alone of a dungeon in 3 days is really pushing it to get all the event achievements and the 3,500 frags for the T3 is clearly designed to get players buying frags. I don't have a set of Brave either and I want one...

600+ runs... I'm sitting on 2350 frags.. but I did spend 200 on a Golem, 400 on 4 Trooper Awakening things, and 1K on 4 Brave talismans (to round out a 2-set from old tribute souls before they fixed THAT issue).

So total... 3950 frags in 600+ runs. About half of those in LOL 15 and the other half in LOL X. I'm sure I'm well over 600, but the event stops counting at 600. Spent approximately 1.2K ironite on meg-refills thus far.

A big issue is the fact that the app needs to be running as close to 24/7 as you can get to collect enough frags. I mean the devs surely must realize a device can't be solely dedicated to running this app, right?? More realistic goals would be nicer. You know, where you take into account that your user will play maybe 2-4 hrs a day, not 16.

The only really decent thing is the drop rates of 4 star colorless awakening runes ARE indeed better in LOL 15.. I was finally able to get over that last purple star with Azov, G Odin, and the Golem thanks to the better 4 star rune drops. So I did pick up about 75 runes in those first couple hundred runs of LOL 15.

I've averaged 600 frags withe 2 mega refills per key running XI or even X. While sometimes X has yielded a little less than 600, it's far more than the 250 at the same cost.

I keep getting class specific rare soul fragments and talisman evo runes in LOL 15. I know that they have always been dropping in LOL 11 - 15 ever since the dungeon's introduction, but they don't belong there. These materials have nothing to do with awakening characters and they don't even show up in the 'rewards' box of the dungeon. They should be removed from the reward pool and colored awakening shards should be added instead.

Buyer beware: bought the Crimean militant talisman with war golem frags and it did not count for the spend frags in store event challenge. I sent in a ticket(60899 if any of the support staff sees this).

While I know there is not enough time left in the event to fix this my best hope is that it gets fixed before next month's frag event.

~700 runs split between lol X and XII, 3200 frags total, around 1200 ironite. Just enough for the toon, the 4 brave talis I needed, and only the T2 boooooo :(
Too expensive for me, and too boring spending all my time grinding ugh. Don't really think it was even worth it for these. Probably won't even use them, like a lot of stuff I waste all my time and resources grinding for (shakes head wondering why).

I also find there are long periods where my drop rates are absolutely abysmal, and it seems like a total waste of time grinding when nothing is dropping, then other times it's maybe average. In general it seems like drop rates have gotten a lot worse for me, especially in the lower levels. Anyone else noticing this over time, or just me?

I was thinking the same thing. Almost 300 individual characters and a repetitive same old infinite runs and I only use a total of 6 of the total characters, except for every two weeks in gauntlet. It's a real bad addiction, because a normal person would have quit after completing still the levels.

The increased cost of the T3 seemed to coincide with the increased run challenge. The standard 500 runs usually gives enough for the character and a T3, and this time around, the 600 runs did the same.

I did all of mine on XI again, had a 6.4 frag/run average.

Heard back last night. It only took 3 DMs, mentioning on a handful of forum posts and about a weeks worth of calling out the poor service on the forums.

I still have no idea how they keep new players, if I didn't have my hoarded up resources and I didn't complete almost every event I'm fairly confident I would have quit from all the bugs and the lack of care from the team.
