Why does the Gauntlet become so laggy ?

So here I am, just getting in a few more battles in the gauntlet, as I have nothing better to do.

And the enemy takes like 10-20 seconds to even begin their turn after my turn ends.

my characters themselves sometimes take 5seconds or more between me pressing the attack button, and them beginning their attack.

Why does this happen ?

I'm having the same issue, but everywhere. From what I can see, it's always when I'm using Cyborg or Pharaoh Eddie or when the other team is using it.... Powerslave dungeon is a nightmare.....
