New month, new events. The mongol characters are coming.

Conquest's End: This is the Genghis Khan event, so nothing much we haven't seen. Archer talismans will be available.
Cosmic Vengeance: Avenger Cosmic Talisman.
Nordic Knights: Could be anyone, but a raid boss event is always a good choice.
Magus Mongolian Archer: No clue what talismans will be available, but a new character is always welcome.
Pride's Fall: Pride talismans will be available here.
Glutton's Ruin: Gluttony talismans will be available here.
Towerfall: The usual towerfall event.

Kinda straightforward this month. What do you all think?

Strong celebration from me on two fronts.

Yet another month without an arena event. Arena events have not been fun in a long while and with the current state of arena I don't want to spend more time in that corner of the game than necessary.

I'm also happy that we are continuing on this trend of less events. The un-fun grindathon periods are getting fewer and further apart.

I have some more positive thoughts about the first event but I'll save that for the event thread itself just in case somethings have changed between the demo on Friday and when it goes live tomorrow.

...and again we need to farm 20k fragments for a new toon and 5k fragments for a cosmic event T3 talisman.
What I don't like is, that we can use the new toon only at the end of the event. A few days later a new toon is advertised.

I don't see the issue. You get to use your Blackbeard Eddie now until you pick up September's Eddie in a couple of weeks.
Why is this bad?

You can use him to farm, if any of his abilities are needed in future events, and gauntlet.

If you don't think 25k frags for an Ed is worth it than don't grind for it and work towards other goals.

Blackbeard got some use from me in the last round of gauntlet with the Gunner restrictions. Put some good talismans on him and he pulls his weight and is already more useful than some of the other Gunner Ed.

To me 10k to 15k for a month long character is more reasonable as we have real lives. If unable to obtain blackbeard or similar characters, I believe that they will be available in the store like doomsday Eddie at a similar price. Both are 4 star gunners with passives.

If they stay at the same pace as last month, needing 30K frags for the toon and bespoke is not unreasonable. If you earn 20K from the other events you only need to run 10+ keys to reach your goal. Many need to run these dungeons for resources anyway. 10 keys is not unreasonable at this pace.

Are we going to have a new raid this month? Hopefully! Nordic Knights doesn't seem very related to Cernunnos but who knows... or maybe Cernunnos will be released just before the event and we can play with it at the event?

I hope the fragment event isn't such a grindathon. The only thing that got me motivated last time was that I could double-up running LOL XV to finally get Lucifer. Other than that this looks like about the right number of events. I kinda like the variety events so hopefully we get one of them next month.
