Part One - November 29th - December 6th at 4pm PT

From now until December 6th at 4PM PDT, complete both regular and Clan event challenges to earn rewards such as Cyborg Eddie Soul Fragments, Gunner Awakening Shards, Equilibrium Fragments, and more!

Collect 500 Cyborg Eddie Soul Fragments to guarantee 1 5★ Gunner Cyborg Eddie.

If you have extra Cyborg Soul Fragments, or already have a Cyborg and don’t need another, you can trade these Fragments in store for Cyborg Awakening Shards, Cosmic Cyborg Talismans and more!



Part Two - December 6th at 4pm PT - December 13th at 4pm PT

From December 6th until December 13th at 4PM PDT, complete both regular and Clan event challenges to earn rewards such as Strange Currency, various Talismans upgrade materials, Equilibrium Fragments, and more!

Strange Currency is traded in the Store for Cyborg and Festive Awakening Materials, new Unique Cosmic Evo Materials AND Cosmic Cyborg Eddie! You can see your current currency amounts by checking the Event tab in the Challenge menu and the Event tab in Store!

The Cosmic Cyborg is an awakenable seasonal character with no Talisman Slot restrictions, and Class Advantage over every enemy! This Eddie also comes fully skill sharded, and when he is Max Awakened will gain a unique passive - Stranger in a Winter Wonderland - that gives you a Blizzard Shield each turn and hits enemies with Freeze!

At the end of this event, any unspent Strange Currency will be automatically converted into Precious Soul Fragments at a 10% rate. Event Store Additions Part 2 (the following items will leave the store at 4pm PT on December 14th)


Pick up the Dead Eye Pack! This bundle contains Gunner Awakening Shards, Gold, Ironite, Frontier Coins and 6 Festive Awakening Shards! It also contains a T2 Gold Cosmic Talisman with a Snow set-effect.

Players can join a Clan part way through an event in order to obtain these extra Event Challenges.

If you are removed from your Clan, or choose to Leave a Clan during the event, you will no longer be able to participate in the Clan Event Challenges. After the 24 hour cooldown you can then join a different Clan. This will give you access to any active Clan Event Challenges, and any Clan Group Challenges will be updated to the current total for your new Clan. If the Clan has already completed and claimed a Clan Group Challenge, the new member will not be able to claim that reward. Players will not gain double rewards by Clan hopping.

It appears that the clan challenge to do Brave New World Floor X isn't working. I did a number of runs on Floor X in the red version and one run in the yellow/green version, but the clan challenge still says 0. I verified that other challenges are working (Trooper dungeon and Arena with Gunners).

Excited to see the new 3* Cosmic Evo Runes for sale. We'll need 10 of the corresponding tier rune for the 4* -> 5* evolution.

I'm a little confused by the cyborg fragments though. Everything about the event store, including the prices for various items and the ironite/cash packs for additional fragments, all strongly suggest the cyborg frags should be farmable somehow? The 500 fragments from the event challenges is a wonderful way for newer players to get hold of a Cyborg if they don't have one yet, but it barely puts a dent in the cost of the Cyborg Bespoke talismans for example. Have I missed something, or will this be addressed in part 2, with the (hopefully more plentiful) event currency replacing the cyborg fragments?

Great way to dangle the carrot!! I've been waiting to get a chance to earn the Cyborg bespoke talisman for a year after missing out last year, only to be massively disappointed by this. How can we get the cosmic t3 at 5000 frags cost when there's only around 10% of those frags to earn through the event? I wonder what the reasoning behind this was since there's no way you can get it unless you spend thousands of Ironite.

yep i too missed out on the cyborg cosmic last year and given the frags i had still doesn't give enough to get a single T3, Unless i spend 2500 ironite and £19.99 for the other 2500 frags what about new players who don't have Cyborg, granted they can drop him from this event but can't get any cosmic aswell.....you lot are just money grabbing weasels....You either need to make it so they drop from dungeons listed in the event achievements or give us a compo pack worth 5000 cyborg frags.....

I for one think it's just mediocre at best. Not enough rewards to buy things with and broken event challenge tracking make this not really fun or likeable.

cus theres more work involved in changing his skills and then creating awakening materials/shards etc adding coalgivers jacket would have been much quicker to do. but this event is a waste of time especially for new players. god knows what the hell they was thinking by not making frags available elsewhere in this event..The mind boggles

All of the event challenges are straightforward and readily obtainable and I like that. Except, of course, for the BNW X challenge, but it's a glitch the devs will either fix or compensate us for, as they have in the past. It's really no big deal to me.

And yes, I am feeling super smug and proud of myself for having stockpiled 15,000 Cyborg fragments over the past year in preparation for this event. What's my big reward? The opportunity to buy year-old bespoke talismans I already have. Joke's on me! :D But it's also no big deal - I'm happy to get an extra T3 for (hopefully) Cosmic Cyborg Eddie.

I do hope that there's another event this week that gives more Cyborg frags as it would be a big benefit to newer players who could use the Cyborg bespoke.

Exactly the same as what they done with Oni's cosmic. only available via a cash purchase then say they have never sold a cosmic for cash purchase that hasn't been available else where. Well where is it available elsewhere ? , not to mention the countless toons thats been nerfed because people complain that they can't kill a toon.

Viking invader - nerfed cus he could be odin on his own due to the way THEY programmed his passive. Yet was a reward for the 25K run clan event
Cyborg - Nerfed the crap out of him cus they cocked up his passive and he would revive countless times in battle.


Now if these toons were TESTED correctly then there would be no need to nerf anything.

What would take the edge off of this frustrating event for me a little is if devs had timed the heroic souls to give cyborg frags when opened now instead of COTD. At least there'd be a shot at more, but honestly this is quite silly. How cool is it that a brand new player can have Cyborg eddie for 500 ironite? Awesome, that's a deal! However, it's crazy that that's so obtainable and the bespoke is so out of reach without spending a good chunk of $ and/or resources.

I guess had I known about Cyborg Monday I would've cracked open lots of heroics last time he was in rotation. But ironically if I knew to do that via experience I'd have probably had the bespoke already.

so What are you proposing to do about the lack of cyborg frags that can be obtained for this event. somet of us haven't been able to hoard vast amounts of cyborg frags, nor was it said at any point to hoard the frags for the next cyborg event. some players are not as advanced as some players as they dont have the resources. bit unfair on newer players don't you think...seems like your just giving newer players the middle finger...

I'm seeing a weird new bug with today's update. In My Team, when clicking on certain toons to look at their equipped talismans, the toon display gets stuck on that toon and will no longer switch to any other toons until you exit out of My Team and back in again. Only happens for a few specific toons, ie as soon as I click on any of the following toons, the toon display is stuck on that toon and can't switch to any others: Ancient Mariner, Charlotte, Killer Beast, Killer Prime, Wrathchild, The Killer, Wrath, Beast Eddie. Equipped talismans doesn't matter. Plz fix.

The Gauntlet also has endless loading. Defeat without play. Not allowed two times (AAA). Both times the team had wrathchild
If there are these errors, a new approach may be needed. Entering battles, runs according to the availability of resources, writing off the sands after the battle is over

This is definitely one of the worst problems I've seen in a long time here. Each member of my clan are having different bug problems. Some can't do skull quests, others raids, different dungeons. Everyone has different issues.
Mine is with arena, I can fight revenge teams. But it gets stuck in the splash screen if I try to fight in the attack screen. Have to restart the game to get out of it.

Not only that but the game is in such a mess cus you couldnt do your job right first time..... i really do wish there was a way of actually contacting Steve Harris and advise him how much of a mess you lot are making of the game which has their branding on it......As if the game wasn't bad enough with the bugs, you have well and truly caused a lot more issues now and it's affecting THOUSANDS of players.......One day you'll all be sitting in your empty offices cus you've gone bust wondering where you went wrong........well I'll tell you now where your going wrong.... your focusing on getting as much income as possible rather than fixing the issues that's already present. If you got your priorities right you'd find you would have more income cus people will be more inclined to spend money on the game when it's working smoothly

If the cyborg-fragment event store items were significantly cheaper, or maybe even removed entirely, I imagine we'd all be saying this was a pretty good, if uninteresting, event. It would have been a nice little warm-up before Part 2, and would have created a decent amount of good will by essentially giving everyone in an active clan a free Cyborg Eddie. Re-reading through the event description, I get the impression that was the intention behind this event, a small little event and a free 5* eddie to get us into the festive spirit. Which is a wonderful intention, and you should definitely do more things like that in the future!

However, the lovely road paved with those intentions, leads us to the event store, which is the source of all the bad will. Currently the 500 fragments we can earn is rather useless and there are no real decisions for us to make, other than "Do I want to open my wallet?". If the prices were cheaper (1/10th of current prices for example), those 500 fragments could have offered a real choice. Say I could buy the T3, but couldn't also afford the Cyborg Awakening Shards. That's a more interesting situation. I could buy a few more fragments, or maybe settle for the T2 and the Shards, and pick up the T3 the next time it is reprinted. Or stick with the T3, and gamble on getting the Cosmic Cyborg and not worrying about awakening the regular Cyborg until later. Those are more interesting choices, on top of the initial "Do I need a Cyborg Ed, or should I use the fragments in the store?" decision of course.

Alternatively, having the activities mentioned in the challenges drop a guaranteed amount of cyborg frags could also have been another way to avoid these bad feelings. If the drop rate was set at a point where the T3 would cost the equivalent of say 1-2k Ironite, similar to the cosmics in character fragment events, I honestly think we'd be having a completely different discussion about this event, and working together to tease out the most efficient way to spend our fragments. Rather than, well, you've read this thread :p

This is definitely one of the worst problems I've seen in a long time here. Each member of my clan are having different bug problems. Some can't do skull quests, others raids, different dungeons. Everyone has different issues.
Mine is with arena, I can fight revenge teams. But it gets stuck in the splash screen if I try to fight in the attack screen. Have to restart the game to get out of it.

Yeah, this has been a weird one for sure. I've never seen problems that manifest themselves differently for different users. My skull quests problem was solved by removing Killer Prime too, just as others mentioned above.

So the second part of the event started tonight and though it looks to be promising it appears there are some issues with the game; connections issues are plaguing some players, while others such as myself aren't seeing event progress counted. This is particularly apparent for the labyrinth dungeon with a cosmic cyborg character, which happens to award the most event currency to players. I would really like to enjoy this event as I am sure others would, but it is currently very broken.

I'm also seeing problems with cosmos run counts. I was at 36/50, then checked later and saw 28/50, and just checked now to see 8/50. The x/infinity count had x=1 every time. So, are runs being subtracted?!

I have 250 event frags from the x=1, so it's not a display issue with that counter.

my issue is when they are on a toon if i need to change them to another toon i'll have the first 3 tali's which could be ward then the 4th tali i select will be on a totally different toon but would be mystical or overwhelming so takes longer to find the right ones if that makes sense, the talismans that are already equipped are all jumbled up

The cheapest and fastest method to get the new Eddie seems to do only Cosmos battles with 4 SOT costs.
Bad thing about this is that you can't do it over night, because of these stupid talismans getting from these runs and flooding your inventory.

Ok, part 2 of genial event. Runs in LOL's and cosmic seems fair. But why dungeon's required only with cyborg talisman? Have 3 Cyborg's and cant grind them because of this talisman. Well, im not desperate, dont spend money for one tali. NF's show up, they care only for money. What's with new players or players without clans and those who havent special toons or talis? They all need to spend money, if they want participate in new events. And only 6 days for grind 25 k of frags. :mad:

Cosmic dungeon (first wickerman): 4 sand per run. 600 sand gives you 150 runs. 150 runs gives you 3 x 250 = 750 cyborg currency.
Lab dungeon: 15 sand per run. 600 sand gives you 40 runs, or 40% of 100 runs. 100 runs give 1500 currency, so 600 sand effectively gives 600 currency.
LoL 1: 6 sand per run. 600 sand gives you 100 runs. 100 runs gives you 2 x 250 = 500 cyborg currency.

Add in the fact that the first wickerman dungeon takes 7 seconds to run and lab and lol take longer, you're best off with cosmic.

If the LoL grind event starts during this, though, it may make sense to do LoL to "double up" the rewards.

But, now the bad news:
600 sand cost 150 ironite and gives you 750 currency. You need 25,000 currency for christmas cyborg. 25,000 / 750 is 5000 ironite.

So, go in with your eyes open. Getting christmas cyborg costs 5000 ironite.

I did my skull quests and 4 eternal keys, using 21 troopers, with 32 left. Then I tried the labyrinth dungeon, using maxed cyborg and bounty hunter, both with bespoke talis. I finished my trooper list and play a few runs until the key expires.

Some of my troopers are maxed cyborg eddies with bespoke talisman.

But, the total runs counted for the achievement: 34.

Such a nice hotfix! I feel so motivated to grind!

If anyone is worried about missing rewards? Really? Should we not worry or care anymore, since u don't seem to. Can't believe you're forcing everyone who didn't receive their rewards and refund for lost resources spent on this event that didn't count to now submit tickets for this. This was your problem, caused by your usual faulty updates (2nd in a row), and now we all have to jump through hoops and waste our time with the shitty ticketing system to try to get a refund? I assume you're just betting most won't bother cause you've made it such a hassle these days. Just give us a damn compensation pack like you had to do last week after your last botched update so we don't have to waste any more of our time on your screw ups.

I didn't receive my 5 sob, equilibrium frags, and who knows what else from the completed task(s). I submitted a ticket and no response, and doubtful if I'll get anything back, since all I ever get now when I submit a ticket for lost resources due to your errors, is never ending time-wasting arguments, and never get my resources back anymore. 4 SOT gives you 3 effective runs if you use 3 cyborgs, so with 3 cyborgs you hit the 50 cosmos challenge after 17 runs
17 runs x 4 sot = 68 SOT
68 SOT per 50 challenge
each 50 challenge gives 250 currency
250 x 100 is 25,000
so you only need to hit the 50 challenge 100 times to get 25k currency
so that's only 1700 runs in total
1700 x 4 SOT = 6800 SOT
6800 SOT/ 600 SOT = 11.33333333 mega refils
150 ironite x 12 mega refills is 1800 ironite

Our team worked yesterday evening to resolve 3 of the 4 challenges issues found last night (Frontier Dungeons, plus repeatable Gold and Iron Coin challenges not counting). We solved the final issue remaining with Brave New World Challenges not counting early this morning.

In light of the issues with the Greetings from a Strange Land event, we have just placed a compensation pack in the "Special" tab within the "Main Store". This is redeemable one time only and will be available until December 14, 2020.

Thks for the Compensation Pack, Despite how buggy the event has started and how poor and bad planed was the first part of the event (Sorry but the idea of only 500 frags intended for giving new players a Cyborg but refusing them the chance of his bespoke without spending Ironite -or money- plus negating not-new players going for a higher bespoke also without spending ironite -or money- was bad, and you heard the feedback and you did nothing at all to correct it) this second part is absolutely the opposite, a lot of ways of completing the event, fun ways, some nice rewards, and having different paths for earning frags, and overlapping useful events like lol well done! all of this was awesome and thanks for that, hope you keep working on this path and taking over the issues presented. I got all of my missed rewards just buy doing what ever they asked. For instance, to trigger the cosmos rewards, I just ran Powerslave on madness once and got all 500 strange currency plus the shards and coins(?). This was a relief because the message from support on my ticket led me to believe that I would not be getting those at all.

I'm worried about this too - you can get 6 in the £33.99 pack and 6 from the event; I wouldn't be surprised if they make another 12 available at most so you can only awaken 3 of the 4 without spending £££.
