Freeze enemies in their tracks with Ice Eddie! This 5* Magus Freezes enemies and protects himself with Blizzard and Snow Shields. He also comes equipped with a Passive that prevents enemies from reviving and a Fury that inflicts Perfect Freeze and permanently decreases MR by 100%.

From now until December 17th at 4PM PT, earn bonuses from each tier of Sacrifice, in addition to normal sacrifice rewards.

Bonus rewards for each tier are as follows:


Tier I sacrifices have a bonus of either 2 Frozen Blood Currency
Tier II sacrifices have a bonus of 6 Frozen Blood Currency
Tier III sacrifices have a bonus of 20 Frozen Blood Currency
Tier IV sacrifices have a bonus of 60 Frozen Blood Currency
Tier V sacrifices have a bonus of 150 Frozen Blood Currency
Tier VI sacrifices have a bonus of 250 Frozen Blood Currency
Tier VII sacrifices have a bonus of 500 Frozen Blood Currency
Vortexes have a bonus of 750 Frozen Blood Currency


Frozen Blood Currency is traded in the Store for the brand new ICE EDDIE, various Souls, a series of packs that contain Sentinel Awakening Materials and more! These packs will give you the opportunity to get Sentinel Awakening Materials for every star tier!

You can see your current currency amounts by checking the Event tab in the Challenge menu and the Event tab in Store!

At the end of this event, any unspent event currency will be automatically converted into Alchemist Soul Fragments at a 1% rate.



Complete Challenges to earn a variety of rewards including various Awakening Shards, Warrior Child of the Damned Fragments and Equilibrium Fragments.

Equilibrium Fragments are the event currency of our Forbidden Knowledge Clan Mega event that is running until January.

Trade your Equilibrium Fragments in the Event Store for rare rewards including Baphomet, Rare Talismans and more!

Did you know you can double or even triple your rewards for a sacrifice? Doing a sacrifice with a higher amount of essence than the minimum required gives you a chance of getting double rewards based on how much you’ve exceeded the essence requirement.

Known Issue: The Frozen Blood Currency icon is currently not showing beside it's corresponding Currency total found in the Event tabs of the Challenge and Store menu. Frozen Blood Currency is still collecting correctly and can be spent in store.

Happy to have the sac event now, so I can open a ton of those 1* heart clan souls that give sot to use in the grinding events, and then sac them for credit in the sac event. However, sac events usually kill the servers all night after the update, so I hope this is not the case yet again, with yet another lost night of downtime, with 2 simultaneous big grinding events currently underway, and the servers nearing meltdown as it is already. How r we supposed to finish all this grinding with all this downtime?

Also, how much Frozen Blood Currency does the Ice Eddie cost anyways? Doesn't say in the event descrip.

How are these amateurs still working after so many stuff ups? Every time an event starts or there's a reset or an update the game is unplayable for hours, sometimes up to 6 hours . Maybe they work for free, that would explain a lot. LOL.

At the rate the game is going I just hope they'll give us some tickets or discounts on merchandise or whatever depending on our purchase history and just close it for good. Just stop taking craps on the band name and make a game full of your original characters, with convoluted skills and abilities that take half the screen and are obsolete when the next toon drops. We can vent our frustration all we like, Nothing will ever get done about it. whilst they will not invest in up to date dedicated servers in a large enough quantity to make this game have a good end user experience. nothing will change same old crap every single event and its really starting to get really boring. The game is no fun anymore.

The only people we can blame is ourselves really cus we put up with the shit and carry on playing it....

This new Eddie is way too expensive for the new players! At least other sacrifice characters were obtainable via fragments but Ice Eddie requires too many sacrifices. He doesn't seem to fit in a new meta team but newer players won't have him in their collections for a long/short period

2 ultimate sacrifices, 4 vortexes, and I'm about half of what the Eddie will cost. Of course he is available if you purchase fragments/currency. 2000 ironite will get you about 8000 of the currency. So in my case if I want him I'll need to spend 4000 ironite (which I don't have).I prepared for the sac event but I'm out of souls. At least they tried to make the game more interesting and challenging to see how many sacrifices you can get done before you have to restart and log in again.
-ok that's off my chest. Otherwise the event characters look interesting.
Suggestion: can we see new characters aged to the frontier store?
Gameplay suggestion: can you make it so we can filter playing our troopers by class, or by a specific character if it is set as their champion?

I spoke too soon. With some creative spending of saved resources, I was able to acquire both characters. Icy cost me about 3750 after another vortex and some more sacrifices. Still, it would be hard for newer players to get them without spending a bit of cash.

Usually reaching the sacrifice stretch goal will get you the rewards + some extra, this time it will get you 1/3 of the way.

He does seem a little bit on the expensive side. I like that that the recent events have been overlapping and letting us "double dip" on the challenges, though.

Also, in relationship to other apps, these souls/frags/gifts/present lists are a resource drain on the servers so a massive clearing out will help out the stability side I’d think.

The design of the game & events induces hoarding, so if they truly want people to empty their inventories, they need to make an adjustment, not simply a massive increase to the cost of rarities. Once a player has a large set of chars, there's near-zero incentive for opening more than one soul a day & the store gives that soul for free anyway. I kind of expected the Heroic line of souls to at least occasionally offer a non-standard char in the mix but even that doesn't happen. Similarly, once there's a decent amount of good chars in your team, there's near-zero incentive to evolve or awaken characters/talisman until the next evo challenge - do the daily task and prepare your talisman to just under max. It's then not a surprise that people then surge at the next new event with their hoards causing the servers to feel unresponsive (or worse) - it's because there's finally something to do with the weeks of prepared gear for the predictable event.

On this one, I got all but one Ultimate Sacrifice & then reviewed: still masses of fragments remaining to complete and no-where near the new eddie requirements. So I gave up & will hoard for the next one. This one was too far away from "just over the achievements" to bother with. OK, OK, Ice Eddie is good but so are a bunch of others... Why bother with this one? Same with Cosmic Cyborg Eddie: three days non-stop grinding SoT purchases and less than half way. I bought everything else in the store that the event currency could buy & still had about 2000 currency I couldn't spend, sod the eddie, only felt like a waste of time for some crappy store options.

I like the inventory management events. The cyborg event of grinding cosmos/wicker isle I’m glad was just once a year, that was the only grinding event that felt like a chore/drain. But I see how it could benefit newer players. This was also the first sac event that was time consuming compared to the others, and hopefully that will just be once a year. Seems worth it for an Eddie, but what was it, 20+ vortex for reward? Can’t pull that off often.

i cant see how people struggled with cosmic cyborg and ice eddie events, they was easy and straight forward... i just did the cyborg runs whilst i was asleep and took 2 nights, ice eddie event was good bought all store items and got ice eddie.....ended up with 24k odd in currency just from sacs but I spent a bit of ironite to get everything but was worth it.

Actually the resource you need to get ice eddie is way more than any past sac events.

So for me, a 4 year player, I have to say this event isn't very good.

And the new currency system for events, aren't that good for players.

By now I almost emptied out the event store, and when I checked BoS to see how it stands, it looks like my soul count is higher than when I started sacking and frag counts are way higher. The only big thing is gold which is draining fast, and I'm down to one stack of skill shards.
Event obviously isn't aimed at beginners, but if you're willing to part with a lot of your gold it's very worthwile and manageable even for someone who is not a hoarder.

End of the event retrospective: This is the first sac event I was exhausted with. I generally do Double tier V sacs, just because they have great return and are easy to make (9 G/A 4*s or 10 M/W/S 4* unleveled). Not including the event challenges, that would be 100 sacs or 900-1000 toons thrown into the sac pit.

I'm late game so having the souls wasn't an issue, but all those sacs and not being able to buy anything, really killed any sense of gratification I normally get during sac events.

I agree with MuzakMaker. Sac events are usually my favorites, but this one was exhausting. I had the souls to keep going, but I just ... couldn't. I had done a ton of max efficiency Exhaulted sacs (six 4 star, some leveled, + hearts) and got to 25,000 icy currency. I bought the remaining 5K with ironite. I'm not going to complain about the rewards or the cost of them. I am going to say that, in the end, this event wasn't fun.

Sac events that give souls which give fragments are more fun because you occasionally get something you want while saving for the big purchase. The best one ever was the Mother Russia and the Sniper event. I also loved the Halloween pumpkin sac event.

Not trying to complain about this event. Just giving feedback that, the mechanics of those events were more enjoyable than the mechanics of this one.
