Troopers be warned - This Frontier Dungeon is EXTREMELY difficult. Only our most seasoned competitors will be able to complete it.

This event is specifically designed to provide our veteran players with a new challenge. In light of this, we have still provided 1 simple sand spend challenge that is accessible for everyone and will award Gold and Eternal Essence Currency.

Eternal Essence is the event currency of the Gateway to Avalon Event.

Knowledge Seeker Currency can be traded in store for Norse Awakening Shards, and new Cosmic Aesir Talismans.

The Cosmic Aesir Talisman provides an exclusive bonus when equipped to Thor Eddie or Odin. This Talisman increases stats in battle, and reduces incoming damage. It will also make the wearer:

Immune to Magic Damage. Gain Immunity to Damage for 1 turn if Magic Penetration or Ascension are active on self at the start of battle and at the start of your turn. 35% Chance to Gain 1 Power and inflict Shock, Stun or Freeze on attacking enemies for 2 turns when you take damage.



Road to Valhalla Frontier Key Dungeon

Earn Skuld, Valhalla Maiden by completing Road to Valhalla Dungeon Achievements!

The Road to Valhalla Dungeon has a 5 battle limit per key. You have 2 hours total to complete those 5 battles. The dungeon will close once you have completed 5 battles, OR after the 2 hour period has elapsed without the battle limit being met. Troopers beware! This is a high challenge Dungeon with a 5* Rarity Restriction, so be prepared!

The first time you complete this dungeon, you will receive set rewards including a Legendary Soul, Talisman Epic Soul Fragments and more.

All subsequent victories are guaranteed to provide XP Runes, as well as a chance of bonus rewards, including Protection Talismans if your battle Thor Eddie, Freya or Rota, Valhalla Maiden, or Mercy Talismans if you battle Gunnr, Valhalla Maiden or Fenrir.

**IMPORTANT: If you summon another Road to Valhalla Frontier Key Soul while the corresponding Dungeon is already open you will refresh that dungeon’s countdown timer.

I like this event a lot. Great rewards (2 new, really useful bespokes). A dungeon that's hard enough to be fun but not so hard it's frustrating (ala inferno on hard). A generous allotment of keys. And, most importantly, a small enough number of times through that I actually played it by hand. I'm actually playing the game. And I'm having fun!

I've done one of every level and 20 more times on Fenrir (working on the Thor achievement) in roughly one sitting. I'll definitely do another 25 times to finish off the challenges and get more bespokes. The achievements will be a long road, but I actually appreciate that.

For me, this is definitely one of the best events ever. There are others I liked a lot too, and I don't really feel like stack ranking them, but this is definitely in the top few.

Just a question about the bespokes instore, the Valhalla maiden cosmic doesn't look like the previous Valhalla cosmic we've collected,
the Aesir cosmic though, looks identical to the original Valhalla maiden cosmic, do the item descriptions match the items or should the Aesir be the Valhalla and vice versa. Could you please clarify this, already bought 2 Aesirs not sure whether to buy a Valhalla maiden yet.

I did Thor's battle in 5 seconds. So for those who are new in the game, it's not extremely difficult as it was that bloody Set with Labyrinth in Powerslave a year ago, don't get frustrated. Just take Ragnarok and multihitters + counter blockers + passive disablers and you'll do ok

PLEASE more events like this. It's much better when we are rewarded for the time we play instead of punished for the time we aren't playing.

This is the first event that I complete this fast, it took me 3-4 hours max. I was beating the second of the 5 battles in 15 seconds. Got all the chalenges done. Got lots of keys, Clan God fragment and Iron Coins & more.

well, that didn't work. Apparently some characters can ignore the minotaur's revenge/counterstrike block.

I checked the in game text of the announcement for this event, and it calls out the Valhalla Maiden Bespokes. So it seems they were intended to be available. I don't have them yet, and would really like to get them. I hope they come back before the even is over. There's enough currency in the challenges for 2 Odin T3s, a maiden T3 and a maiden T2.

I've been wondering if one of the reasons for this "success" lies in the shorter pvp-style waves. Maybe dungeons with 5 stages are visually stunning but they might become bothersome rather fast? Maybe dungeons with 3 waves give you enough room to populate the waves with toons and talismans for making the puzzle difficult but doable enough?

Again, the easiness of swapping among battles in this one big frontier gave us some fresh air. The idea of playing a little here, a little there, and testing different strategies for each stage was cool. The rewards were good and the chance to play for hours one key after the other or just a little every day was also comfortable.

I still like the 5 stage dungeons. I think what sets this event apart from those isn't the 1 stage vs 5 but the 25-50 runs vs 250-500. Anything that requires hundreds of runs is going to need to be Autoplayed, where I'll do 50 times by hand over a couple of days and enjoy it.

I also want to emphasize that it was great that the battles were hard without being annoying. In many recent cases, "hard" was accomplished by making the bad guy go completely invulnerable for 2-3 turns. Those always result in us killing everything else and then sitting there bored for 3 rounds as he's frozen and unable to even attack us but we still have to attack 12 more times before we can hurt him. I didn't see anything like that in Valhalla, and I really appreciate it.

Thor level is easy with a team of dark lillith, baph, Freya, cyborg. Freya had envious,cosmic. Baphs fury does all the work. Force cosmic talismans on lillith and baph kept Ragnar from killing them with 1 hit.

Gunnr level is harder. Using baph,lillith,Rota, and still looking for the right Eddie. Baphs power move can usually 1 shot it. If not and live to round 2, try again, but i died a few times.

Hi folks, I've still been super busy with other things, but finally got around to checking out the new dungeon. It's pretty good hey! It's obviously difficult, but we also have plenty of options as we can use any of our natural 5* characters. We don't have class restrictions to worry about thankfully. I beat each stage once, and then did my 50 runs for the event on the Fenrir stage, so I don't have enough data to say much about drop rates or anything like that yet. But I do have a quick enemy/talisman image to share with you all.

Hope you're having fun! Passive disable, anti-revenge, and innate permadeath, are all very useful effects here.

For those curious, this is my Fenrir team. I was lucky enough to have Skuld from her original event, but hadn't really used her before. She's much better than I expected, deals plenty of damage here.

Max Cyborg - Valhalla/T3Bespoke (His passive disable after each action, and ability to remove Perfect Immunity is SO GOOD!)
Thor Ed in the backseat
Skuld - Envious/Bespoke
Redan - Apocalypse/Bespoke (She is only 6*, but her bespoke is anti-revenge, and the Apoc removes any remaining buffs)
Max Warrior Odin - Ragnarok/Serenity (His Fury stuns and passive disables.)

My first few runs were manual, but it was safe on auto. Could be improved by brining innate permadeath to deal with the Rot talisman.

Started the Rota level and died every time. Lasted longest with Thor Ed, only able to kill Odin.

Blasted through Thor's and Fenrir's, however Freya's proving to be a tough cookie. Have to take Fenrir for the Achievement, but A.Odin with Archer + Wrathful is just mean. As in, starts whooping me out after a few revenges mean. Rota is slow but sure so far, and I don't expect the Gunnr stage to be as hard.


But yeah, send help against Freya.

I will give a try with those toons, since C. Lily is still...a far away dream for now, I always mess up and buy FC instead of C.lily frags in LOL events. Butter fingers!

Fighting against a team with damage avoiding and damage reflecting RNG driven characters is a real Pain in the Arse. I still can't find a reliable team against Freya.
