From now until August 7th at 5PM PT, complete Event Challenges in the Labyrinth Frontier Dungeon to earn a variety of rewards, including Monstrous Currency, Talisman Soul Fragments, Salvaged Technology Currency and more!

You can access the Dungeon by:
Completing a repeatable event challenge (Spend 100 Sands of Time)
Claiming 1 free Key Soul in the store
Purchasing Key Souls with Gold (this event only)
Purchasing Key Souls with Frontier Coins.

Monstrous Currency can be traded in store for Celestial Talismans, and Cosmic Icarus Talismans!

Cosmic Icarus Talismans can be equipped to Icarus, Daedalus, Flight of Icarus Eddie and Fallen Icarus Eddie! They will increase all stats in battle, reduce incoming damage, increase damage dealt to enemies and will disable the passives of up to 3 enemies for 1 turn. This Talisman will also allow you to avoid taking damage for 1 turn, and will revive a random ally every time you take damage the first time you reach 1 HP in Battle.

Salvaged Technology Currency is the event currency of our Different World event running throughout August.

Trade your Salvaged Technology Currency in the Event Store for rare rewards including Different World Eddie, Cosmic Different World Talismans and more!

Labyrinth Dungeon Details
Earn Fallen Icarus Eddie by completing Labyrinth Dungeon Achievements!

Once it is unlocked, the Labyrinth Dungeon will be open for 2 hours total and can be played an unlimited amount of times during that period. This dungeon also comes with a restriction making it so only Gunner class characters can be used to play!

We have just added a second difficulty setting to this dungeon, so you can now take on both regular AND Hard settings. You can now gain progress on all Labyrinth Dungeon achievements on both Normal and Hard difficulties!

The first time you complete this dungeon, you will receive set rewards including a Legendary Soul, Talisman Soul Fragments and more. All subsequent victories are guaranteed to provide Evo Shards, as well as a chance of bonus rewards, including Greek Awakening Shards on both difficulties, Labyrinth and Sacred Talismans on Normal and Celestial and Archer Talismans on Hard.

**IMPORTANT: If you purchase another Labyrinth Dungeon Frontier Key while the corresponding Dungeon is already open you will refresh that dungeon's countdown timer.

Event Store Additions:


Pick up the War Call Pack and Awaken Trooper Eddie! This bundle contains Warrior Awakening Shards, Gold, Ironite, Frontier Coins, 3 Ale Awakening Shards and 3 Trooper Awakening Shards! It also contains a Cosmic Trooper Eddie Talisman!
Get the FInal Flight Pack and receive a wide variety of Cosmic Talismans as well as some currency. This pack has 1 T2 Cosmic Icarus Talisman, and 4 T2 Red Cosmic Talismans with Sacred, Archer, Capricorn and Libra set effects.
Grab an additional boost of Event Currency to trade for more items in the Event Store. This pack also contains Talisman Soul Fragments, Frontier Coins, Ironite and more!

A new dungeon is always a good time. The first wave is a real pain, haven't sat down and worked out exactly what the annoying parts are, but I'm pretty sure it's everything. Whole heap of healing, reviving, and golden effects. Once you break through it, the rest of the dungeon is nice and straight forward thankfully.

As for the event itself, it's a chance to pick up an Icarus Bespoke or two, and a few Celestial talismans. And wonderful to see the Gauntlet character fragments are part of the Sot Spending challenge! Thanks devs :D

That first round on hard is definitely the crux of this. I've tried a number of things, but have been having reasonable success with Yellow Onyx Son since he permadeaths with his basic. Definitely doesn't make that round fast, but does make it faster than without him. I've got to put better talis on him. I subbed him in mid key, and didn't have time to get him anything nice to wear... Hopefully the second key will go better.

Good shout with Onyx Son - I was thinking about using Chopper but he only applies permadeath for one turn. Redan with Imperial Cosmic is good at preventing counters by Icarus on the first wave and either a Maxed Gunner LoL or someone with Space talismans will prevent burns stacking up too much.

My current team is as such:
Cosmic Cyborg: Forge + Cyborg Cosmic
Edless Horseman: Capricorn + Libra + Paranoia Cosmic (might be able to swap out paranoia)
Osiris: Ragnarok + Desert Deity Cosmic
Redan: Apocalypse + Imperial Crimean Cosmic

All of them are fully awakened (besides Edless, he can't be awakened). Gets around 1:50 usually.

EDIT: After doing more testing, I found a better team.

Cosmic Cyborg: Forge + Cyborg Cosmic
Wrathchild: Capricorn + Libra + Mark Cosmic
Osiris: Ragnarok + Mark Cosmic
Redan: Apocalypse + Imperial Crimean Cosmic

Mark comics can be swapped for Navigation. Around 1:25 average.

I like this event.

Pros: Good opportunity to get an Icarus cosmic or a set of Celestials if you didn't have 'em already.
Cons: 5 Hallowed awakening shards instead of 6 is annoying. Nothing new to grind for.

Actually, hard mode has a chance to drop Celestial talismans. A top tier (imo) tali set seems a reasonable reason to run this dungeon. If in the future we get a yellow character that aggressively blocks revives, it could become quite a farm.
