Earn Lucifer Soul Fragments and other Rare Rewards in the Gauntlet.

Our Sixteenth Gauntlet season starts now and will run until December 18th at 4:00 pm PT. Battle through 11 Grades of Gauntlet, each presenting unique challenges and rewards to earn a place on our Ranked Leaderboard. The Ranked Rewards for Season 16 will feature Lucifer Fragments, in addition to other rewards.

You will have 10 weeks (until the end of Season 16) to earn enough Lucifer Fragments from the Gauntlet to summon him!

Lucifer, the Prince of Darkness, now has an alternative awakening! Now, when you open a soul containing Lucifer, it has a 10% chance to be Dark Unawakened Lucifer! The alternative Max Awakening of this character can be obtained by acquiring 6 Lord Of Light Awakening Shards and 6 Dark Unmaker Awakening Shards.

Max Awakening Dark Unawakened Lucifer will unlock the True Hellfire Passive Ability. This ability makes Lucifer immune to Passive Disable, Burn, Stun, Freeze and Sleep Effects AND reduces all damage taken by 99%. He will also be able to remove all positive effects from enemies after every action!

You can get Dark Unmaker Awakening Shards from the PVP Store during this Gauntlet season. Get 6 Dark Unmaker Awakening Shards for 600 Iron Coins! These Shards can be used for Lucifer or future Dark Unawakened characters. We recommend stocking up, as these shards are only available in the Arena store until the end of Gauntlet Season 16. After that time, they will only be resurfaced in various Awakening packs.

Important: Dark Unawakened Lucifer is at a 10% chance for the new and existing avenues of acquiring him. This means that if you get a Lucifer Soul from the current in-game Achievements, or via a pack there is a 10% chance you can get Dark Unawakened Lucifer when you open that Soul.

The Lucifer Soul Fragments you earn via Gauntlet are a new type of Fragment and cannot be combined with the ones earned via achievements or past events.

Players who make it to Grade A and above will also be awarded Final Frontier Eddie Fragments!

Final Frontier Eddie Fragments can be collected over several Gauntlet seasons. Once you have 1,000 Fragments, you will earn a Guaranteed Final Frontier Eddie.

Final Frontier Eddie is a 5★ Sentinel that is only available by collecting Fragments in the Gauntlet.

Pick up the True Hellfire Pack and Awaken Dark Unawakened Lucifer! This bundle contains Warrior Awakening Shards, Gold, Ironite, Frontier Coins, 6 Dark Unmaker and 6 Lord of Light Awakening Shards! It also contains a T2 Red Cosmic Fallen Talisman!

You're asking us to play Gauntlet for 10 weeks in exchange for a 90% chance of a duplicate character?

Gauntlet used to be sacred, guys. Charlotte, Ancient Mariner, Moonchild . . . The absolute pinnacle of non-Eddie Maiden lore was found in Gauntlet. Then, we started seeing lesser characters, with little to no direct connection to Maiden lore (degrees of separation to key figures doesn't count). Now, we have a duplicate?

All excitement and motivation for Gauntlet are gone for me now.

first off, I think the backer shirts should come back, they would probably do well if the game has the "millions of players it claims"
game could be so much better with minor changes

like not asking ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO SELL THID ITEM WHO'S ONLY PURPOSE IS TO BE SOLD? ARE YOU SURE? or to be able to skip the animations for souls, awakening, ect

up the level cap its been half a decade

half the skull quests are completely worthless

make pvp and arena a little more accessible, maybe more than 1k people will make an attempt to get to SSS or better yet. Make the #1 rewards for everyone that gets past SSS

Stopping the store/BoS resetting to the start of the list after every purchase/soul opening should already be a feature.Having a Compendium that was up to date and worked

Something on the Book of Souls screen to tell you how many stacks / free space you have

AN AUTOMATIC SELL FEATURE if the gameplay is going be based around lootbox mechanics players are going to the millions of duplicates. its a waste of time. Even to trade them in for other crap we dont want.

A slider when you’re converting fragments so you can choose to keep some and convert others (especially for the dungeon frags and cosmic talisman frags)
Some way of getting rid of all those frags from events that have finished but you have less that 10 frags left sneak can’t convert

I have frags from 3+ years ago, and the only message they send is, if the feature does not generate income, it will stay broken.

Was this a one time only thing? The phrase "stocking up" made me think they would be back in store each Gauntlet cycle - one set of 6 hardly constitutes a stock :p
