I've seen this happen to me before... but not very frequently.

When it does happen, I'm always like "WTF game?"

Yes this DO happens, enemies lose an amount of Hp when the Fury is triggered, but recovers another amount when the Fury ends.... happens often...

yes, i can confirm this. i used CR eddie a lot today to prevent the ghost status in the dungeons, and sometimes the fury healed the boss :-(
