Pharaoh Dog not doing damage?

I'm not sure if this is a bug which is why I'm posting it here.

Is anyone else noticing that their Pharaoh Dog frequently (1/2-2/3 of the time) does no damage to enemies? Does he just miss more than every other character?

Sometimes the curse goes off but there is no damage. Am I missing something? Thanks

Too bad. That is my heavy hitter! He worked fine up until today. He went from hitting 99% of the time the past week to about 15% of the time today.
