Stats seem to go down when I level up

Has anyone else noticed this phenomenon? For example going from level 3 to 4 on a character, the attack goes from like 185 to 175. Happens on talismans also.

Yes level 1/50 has lower stats on some than 40/40, both on characters and talismans (not all)...don't bother though, they're just base stats on 5* and you wont stay with your talisman/character on level 1/100 or 1/50 for long :D

Just focus on max stats
