Sands of time missing

So I played Shadows of the valley and twice in about 15 minutes that battle used 7 sands of time... That's almost one more battle... And just in the moment when I wanted to refill it... can this be fixed please?

I haven't noticed this issue and just ran it 50 times. Hopefully it was a fluke for you or it looked wrong because of sands won from the lvl. Hope it doesn't happen again.
