which employee of LOTB appeared in the forum this month,so i got curious to see who is that,and clicked on the thread...Alas!

EDIT: it would be easier if more people would have the rights to delete. I would also help, if required, but i never did something like that before...so with aristo we would be 3. and i bet metal warrior would like to help too...

I've simultaneously administer several vb forums over 100k members for many years,i assigned 5 moderators on each forum,main job of moderators was to get into the middle of argument between members,and resolve issues,closing threads ,thread organizations stuffs,one thing they never had to do was deleting spam threads,those were handled/blocked technically by admin.

I think you guys are not quite clear yet about the hierarchy of forum.

If i see a disabled (lame) person drop his crutches (http://medical-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/crutches) and struggling to pick them up,i would patiently stand there and encourage verbally,
but I won't pick those up for him until he request me to do so.
he might be physically lame but still mentally independent, i shouldn't take that away from him.
