I know this isn't your area but as you are Nodding Frog employees I am hoping you can help? Is there any chance you can find out and post back here or ask if someone from your support team can sign up to the forum and post here and let all of us who are locked out with the 75% loading problem know just what is going on to fix the problems?

It is 6 WEEKS now since I have been able to get into my account. I appreciate that the time frame isn't all down to the current team but it has gone very quiet again. Last I heard was 2 weeks ago with a failed attempt to fix. I sent an email last week asking for an update and heard nothing so have sent another today.

I know I am not an isolated incident. Pretty sure Jennie is still locked out, I saw another post earlier today about it and another one yesterday where someone said they were giving up hope and starting the game again. Starting the game again isn't a fix - it takes the onus away from the game team in fixing the underlying issue and getting us back in. We have spent time, effort and MONEY to play the game so far so surely the least we can expect is for our existing games to be fixed?

I don't mean for this to come over as a rant as I know there is good work going on in regards to game balancing and future content which sounds exciting but for me current issues should be fixed first. I have been pretty patient over this last 6 weeks but it is now starting to wear extremely thin. All I want to do is get back into my account and play the game

Dude this is sad... i cant believe your still locked out! Almost 2 months now! This should be fixed ASAP! Did you try asking in the thread were sparton lurks??? That thread... in the announcements... idk what's it called... you need help... asap

I know the thread you mean Nekroliun and I didn't. Reason being is that the thread you talk about is really busy and my post may have got overlooked. I started this in the hope one of them sees it and can find out what is going on :)

Ye.. nobody's coming for your help... well they should be fixed with time... tbh i prefer the forums over the game, prob cuz im shit at the game...

Sorry about the slow response. I saw your post late yesterday, but I wanted to gather more information from the rest of the team (customer service and programmers) before posting.

The short answer is we thought there was a solution to this about a month ago, but while that solution solved the problem for most users, there are a few other lingering issues that cause similar problems of not being able to log in, but are caused by slightly (or entirely) different things.

For the players still blocked from entering the game, we are pretty sure it's caused by corrupt data that keeps getting overwritten by the device caches. However, we're still working on how to thoroughly solve the problem for all users. We still have a list of people who have contacted us through support, and we will let you know as soon as possible when we have a solution for you through the method you contacted support.

I am incredibly sorry for those of you who continue to be locked out. We don't have a timeline yet, but I hope we will have a solution for you soon.

Thank you for this information - it is very much appreciated. As I said I was feeling frustrated that I wasn't getting any updates but it is good to know that this is being worked on. Fingers crossed a full fix can be implemented soon :)

what usually happens in scenario of corrupt data in a profile or in any type of document!
if we can't fix it ,we try to retrieve as much data we can, and place into a new document/profile.
if the tech team has access to his locked profile's content for a glance,they can emulate the whole thing in a brand new profile,can't they !

Not if that player's OS is trying to be "helpful" and is overriding our attempt to do that with backed up data from elsewhere (not sure if that's the problem in this case, but a previous game I worked on had that issue).

I'm not quite sure i understood at all, how player's involvement affects this troubleshooting process!

if a 'tech' copy the content information from a problematic profile, to a brand new profile, no one would have access to that new profile except the 'tech' who is troubleshooting.
that 'tech' can test it 100s of time,to make sure it is working properly on his side....before contacting back the user,informing a new account has been created, by emulating his previous account,based on as much data was retrievable,and provide user the new account info to login.

That is pretty much what the last attempt at fixing it was from what I was led to believe. If I understand Sparton correctly he is saying that my iPad may have cached or saved some corrupt data? I don't know how that would apply to a new account that has never been used on my device before though but I don't know how it all works in all honesty :-/

you my friend! have you tried to logout from your existing account from your ipad and started a new account to see,if your ipad is the actual culprit that can corrupt any LOTB account..
or is it just an isolated incident,and impacted the only one you are trying to retrieve!

have you tried to use a secondary device/emulator (if you've got no other device),when the last attempt was made! if i suspect your device is the culprit, i would have suggested that to begin with.


btw,some might think,it is none of my business,since i'm not personally having any account issue.
i can stay out of this matter, if it appears, my headache is more than the account holder.
