Using two of the same character in battle

Has any one tried using two of the same character in a battle and was it successful?

Like two red trolls or two war dogs. I think it might be interesting in a pvp match.

I've done two Pharaoh Sun Spirits... If I had a Pharaoh Eddie, that team would just look amazing in Kingdom of the Sands!

I've done two hell hounds multiple times, it's only mediocre. There are other combos that are clearly broken: two yellow COTD (which generates 5 power per turn, combine it with a troll and cyborg). 3 water spirits and Pharoah would be crazy OP. Stuff like that.

Ocasionally I threw a couple of Blue allied soldiers, one freezing another blinding, works well most of times

i've got several corrupt general troopers,and I've got one myself,so i use 2 corrupt generals several times everyday,kinda boring unless very strong opponents, cause both general stuns/freezes.

same here, i sometimes use two corrupt generals. if i had two this would easily compensate the nerf, they get ;-)=

Just think a pharaoh eddie with 3 sentinell soulles demon or pharaoh eddie with 2 sentinell soulless demon and allied general. In pvp 50k hp each one. Pretty op.

That was actually one of the teams I had set up for PvP, but there is a bug when you use 2 of the same character (not trooper, but your own). The damage output actually is dropped by almost half for each of the two. I've tested this extensively and it is definitely an issue. Check my other post with character bugs that may affect PvP for other issues. Hopefully a lot are addressed before PvP rolls out.

yeah and if you put the heal shield on the party, 2/3 of the damage will be taken away. this would really be ridiculous op...

Along with Pharaoh's Invincibility and the Generals buffs...
