Finally defeated the mad Beast but had to revive thrice as his third form uses a special that will wipe everyone (unless I had Cyborg Eddie force shield up).
My lineup:

ALLIED SOLDIER LVL 69 5 STARS
PHARAOH DOG KING LVL 92 5 STARS

And all I got from the legendary soul is a Rocket Dog...

Yeah, same. I just got past it last night. Had to res one time. Used Child of the Damned (Mage) lvl 100, Vampire Hunter Eddie + Soldier Eddie lvl 100, and Axis Bomber Boy (Warrior) lvl 100.

Got a different bomber boy from the soul lol.

Beat this yesterday. Had to res twice, once was to get the 3rd skull (finish with hp% at x+) :D

Used The Nomad (78), Allied Commander (70) and Soldier Eddie 4* (80).
Got a Desert Marauder from the soul.

How are so many people evolving their characters so fast? I've been playing nonstop since the game came out and I still can't get a single 3 star evolution shard (green). I've been able to evolve a purple character to 5 stars, but my main Eddie now has to sit on the sidelines because he can't play with the big boys. Anyone have any advice? I've gotten halfway down the underworld on hard and I get very few 3 star shards. Mostly white and purple with a couple yellows, but 0 red, green, or blue!
