Hey Admins!! Add a Few Regulars as Mods to Control Spam

This level of spamming is ridiculous. Add 2 or 3 regular contributors as forum mods with ability to lock/delete threads and related user accounts.

anyway,lets get back to the thread topic with an analogy:

suppose you have a store,and you have lots of customers visiting your store everyday,
realistically,not all the customers are real/generating revenue,though from outside it appears you are having a great business.

what would you do now! would you put a sign outside,stating 'only enter the store if you are a confirm buyer'!
or would you go one step further,and put a security guard outside and make sure,no one but actual buyer enters the store.

really! who does that !! people might even do the opposite..to get that popularity/traffic,even if it is fake.

My sincere apologies for the amount of Spam. Clearly the Spammers have breached our current defences.

I've changed some more of our registration settings to try and help prevent them, and have appointed another mod.

It looks like they are starting to figure out the new defensive measures. Maybe they aren't bots but actual paid spammers. Those will be pretty tough to keep out.
