Summoned using Gunner / Assassin Soul - got a physical troop?

Recently beat Hell on Hard and used my Gunner / Assassin soul reward. The summon flashed red (yay, 5*?), and then the game proceeded to crash.
I logged back in and the soul was still in my inventory. I resummoned and got a 4* physical troll (what).

Aptly, the game has trolled me. I posted this bug in-game also, but figured a forum post would help in case anyone else has run into this issue.

You should contact support. I'm sure they can see your history and help you, maybe.

This has just happened to me. I evolved that character with shards and the realised it was RED!!! No Purple or Yellow badass... I've contacted support so they can arrange it. I hope so. :)
