Complete objectives,, not receive stars

Complete star objectives, but not given a star

I am having some problems finishing some levels with the following objectives:

a) Ailing Kingdom:

Fallen Star - Madness difficulty

- Use 1 special moves
- Kill 1 enemy with specials

I use only one special, killing only one enemy, but nothing happens

Shadow of the Wicker Man - - Madness difficulty

- Kill boss with specials

I did more than once, but not received the stars

Some levels at Battlefront - Hard Difficulty

- Kill 2 enemies with specials
- Use 2 specials moves

Also not gaving me the stars

I'm having this problem too, I can't figure out why I'm not getting a star no matter how many special moves I use.
