Inaccurate sand indicator

I keep seeing issues where the indicator shows I have 5 or 6 sand while I'm in the campaign overview but when I choose a specific battle the number of sands suddenly decreases by 1 or 2. This was happening in FotD last week and is still happening in the regular campaigns this week.

there are several bugs about the sands indicator: sometimes it appears empty, not showing any number at all;
other times it displays a wrong sands number, which gets correct when you enter a specific campaign battle though.
