I'm stuck in the underworld with my 3 star vanilla eddie, so i bought a soul bundle en saved some souls up. 19 rare souls, 2magus and a sentinel soul. Guess how much 'reds' i got. Fucking 1. An angel of strife. Decent i guess. But how the fuck am i supposed to get these accually usefull 5star eddies or allies???! What the actual fuck? So i rage quit and log on again, servers down. I'm fucking done. What is this droprate???? Servers drop more then red characters. Ffs.

You can't advance on underworld with a 3* star Eddie, try to evolve your Eddie and upgrade your talismans. Atleast you got a premium character from the souls you saved. What's up with the excessive swearing? No need to rage...

You should gather evo shards, 3* chars wont last you any longer, its time for a change, show us your team, we may find you a good setup...

Also show us your roster, you may have a hidden gem!

But yeah the drop rates are shit... if i could i would give u one of my 3 nomads... too bad

Btw floki, try to start with basics. Go into "Guides and Tips" section of the forum, there is tons of informative threads. Got some ideas, then set your strategy to evolve in the game. I know drop-rates are pain in the neck now, but don't bother about them now. At first, grind for your farming team. Build up talismans first. Then try to evolve them one by one. Talismans are way important than levelling up chars. Because if you don't have talismans for your char, it is nonsense to level them up, period. I have dozens of 4* - level 80 chars now, even i have the materials to evolve them to 5*, i keep them waiting until i have the right talismans.

You should focus to grind red talismans for your 3* Eddie first. Then you can easily update him to 4* after.

When I was advancing through Battlefield & Underworld, I used my troopers to help. I had a few really good ones and they would help me chip away at the levels. I would advance 1 or 2 each day and then keep grinding to improve my characters. I would suggest a similar strategy to help climb the mountain.

I see your problem... you have wrong talismans, on your eddie remove the piercng and guardian, replace them with strength fierces (they got nerfed so idk if fierce is still the best) on your angel of strife level your talismans, and go health mystical, on red angel go strength fierce, and on troll strength fierce (maybe), sorry i dont really know what is the best for some chars since the last update chamged alot of things...

Also... level ur talismans, they are the most imp things in the game, chars arent really that imp, talismans are, and try to get them to 4* talismans, 3* talismans wont last you long... prob mid underworld will be impossible with 3* talismans...

AND do you use the angel of fear? (Red angel) hes currently one of the best warriors for his passive! And the troll... hes prob my most wanted char right now... he recently got buffed... aoe damage with an amazing passive and a great ability...

AND REMEMBER TO GET GOOD TROOPERS! IM SURE EVERYONE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE YOU AS A TROOPER

Also, sorry to bother you again, what's the best i can do for talismans? I dont have enough evolve talismans to get em to lvl 40 and they don't seem to drop anymore :/ my problem is that my team is pretty much all warriors. And yea i use the angel of fear, well I'm leveling him, because my brother told me the same :p

Patience is key Floki.... this game had driven me nuts for the better part of 4 months until I summoned Troll, FotD Eddie and Golden Son (assassin) char. Best advice I can give is to level up your char talismans. Take a look at what your character skill set is and try to match them with the talisman that increases their best attributes while also strengthening any weakness. Don't waste your time trying to summon chars! Focus on building up what you have to work with!! The other things will fall in line. The more you play the more you're gonna level up your overall player level which helps a whole bunch. When you get to a certain point, hit the Lord of Light dungeons and hit them hard! That's where you get all the stuff necessary to level up your class characters. I think you're on my trooper list so take a look at my team. I've come a long way in the past week and it's all thanks to doing exactly what I just mentioned (the forums helped too!). Nekro is leading you in the right direction, stay on the path and welcome to the grind lol. Oh and welcome to the Internet dude lol... all servers will always have issues!

I've been "farming" the Lord Of Light challenges for the last few weeks and all I'm getting now are reg souls and reg shards. Nothing to help level up my characters. The reg shards don't even appear in the "drop" info box. Seems like farming these is a waste of time, but then again isn't that what a game is...

The new Achievement scale was awesome at first. Got excited with all the new goals, but now they seem unattainable...

What levels? If it's not 7-10 then don't expect too much back. It can't be luck as the drops consistently give me 3*, 4*, *5 star reg shards and 1*, 2*, 3* Evo shards in multiple numbers. Since Sunday I've farmed all the things needed to take these characters from 4* LVL 80 to 5* LVL 100 playing their classes in LoL 7-10.

Soldier Eddie (Gunner)
Golden Son (Assassin)
Troll (Warrior)
Grim Reaper Eddie (Magus, already 5* maxed him to LVL 100)

Maxing out talismans is a different story as it has become a mission to get runes in mass numbers but I have found some success in final boss level, all modes in Battlefield. What the development team should do is add like colored runes to the LoL drops. That might make it too easy to be really good when the arena goes live though... nobody wants that! Also remember to have a really good trooper ally on your team at first or else you won't get too far!

I agree with somethings Neko said. One thing i don't agree with is getting rid of the guardian talisman. Currently it is giving you 16 more attack then the strength. In the end game (100) strength does give you 2 more atk bonus then guardian, but trust me you can fix those 2 then.

My suggestion is use the team, Eddie, Blue Allied soldier and troll.

For Eddie use a set of Health talismans, overwhelming preferred. and the set guardian (once you level the one to 30. and another tali probably the pierce since you can use the fierce set on the troll.
For Troll Set of fierce, (guardian end game is better here also). set of burning like you have.
For Blue allied take a set of Health (ward) off your green bat and then a set of blue (Holy is best). Even though he was nerfed some his reflect shield still works great and almost every veteran used the hell out of him to get through.

On a side note the red bat is a great toon and can replace either the troll or Blue allied when needed.

Bottom line you must keep your toons alive and especially in the early stages HP is king.

You need to start leveling up that Soldier Eddie you got sitting there Floki... he's the one that's gonna get you far. Wish I would have done it sooner as I realized that he's the most versatile Eddie you get a couple of months after getting him.

Well, you've gotten some seriously good characters (so I wouldnt complain about not having 5* soul drops, you've got some very rare characters even veteran players are searching for!)

You've also gotten some good advice here too.

So now, its just about playing levels until you can collect the materials you need to slowly keep upgrading your team.

The only advice that hasnt been dwelled on here is the importance of troopers. Get great troopers wtih 5* that you can use. A great 5* trooper has been the edge to get me past particular levels many times... And save those trooper points up for skill shards. Apply to your troll, blue soldier and your other 'key' team members. They will also help you get that edge to push past the stages.
