Please check "Guides/Tips" section of the forum. There is ton of informative topics.

Addition to this; basically you need to start with what you have. Level up your fighting team, put the right talismans that fits your characters skills. Have a balance with leveling up talismans & level up chars. And have patiance! This is a long run :)

Other simple tips:

Dont waste resources (skill shards, talisman upgrades etc) on bad choices. Save skill shards for the right characters. Look up the characters in the forums to see if they are any good in the long run to see if they are worth upgrading, both with shards & with talismans. And never waste talisman upgrades on bad talismans that dont fit your characters.
