Yeah his 'normal' attack isnt anything particularly special, but it also blinds nad give accuracy down.

But his power effects are great - Remove beneficial effects on all opposition below 50% health & block beneficial effects.

Dessicate is also great - Reduce att & mag really helps survivability and damage is pretty good.

Lastly, imo, FOTD is all about the fury. Good damage + heals. In auto farm, I've never had much luck with healers doing it when they should except for PSS. Here, he lets off the fury whenever its built up and really makes sure you dont have any unlucky (or stupid) deaths when autofarming harder levels.

So all up, he isnt the best damage dealer for sure. But as a benecificial effect blockers / healer, he's great. Basically, you standard sentinel type purpose :)

As for damage though, 900 damage does still seem a bit low. Does your trooper have the right talismans (iron/stone)?

FOTD Eddie scales on def which is harder to increase with talismans than atk so if you want him for damage over his skills don't use him

I have it maxed with maxed talismans aswell: yes it's true that his damage isn't that high, but it doesn't deal only 900 damage, surely not when maxed.
With his AOE attacks i get 2/3k damage (depends on enemies classes ofc) and with the single attacks he deals even more (and add that i haven't dropped any skillshard on him, so i guess his damage can get average once you do)

I've used him a few times with Alliance General and Wicker Man and he seemed ok to me. Obviously he'll struggle to do much damage to warrior class characters with high defense, but you could always bring along a high damage magus character to offset that. Since his fury has the big healing, I want one for auto farming.
