Combine him with some toon that gives increased accuracy and you get loads of extra turns for the whole party! Was even better before his extra turn got nerfed...

Exactly, my friend - every end game player should be that experienced already to know what toons are the best. Period.

We have seen this before when we start talking about characters that are good of preform better then others they get nerfed. It's a sad but true fact. I will discuss teams but even that is stretching it. It sucks for new players but if I say Angel of fear is the best toon and put all my skill shards on it. On the next update it will be another useless toon.

Just sayin', I'm an endgame player and I had no clue what the best reds are until a month ago.
But that's because my only good ones were the Axis Bomber Boy and Golden Son (and PSS)

Yes, it's good to see what will be on the chopping block....now I which ones to avoid so my investments won't go to waste.

And then, the characters and talismans I do invest in will be relatively more strong and valuable automagically when the next nerfing happens so I'll win out just like in the last round of nerfing :)

since his heal scales with the ATK and the ATK was highly affected by the talisman nerfs he isn't as strong as he was before. but still a pretty good char...not as great as the imp of course...

PSS is good for auto farming because all of its options are some form of attack. It does respectable damage overall, but is essentially an above-average damage dealer... no better and hardly different from Golden Son. Aside from auto farm, I think most players got all excited that a 1* character performed better than average. Mine doesn't get much use any more.

I also voted red pumpkin because you have no imp option.

i'd redo the poll, as it's not the warriors that got nerfed, it's physical damage or anything that has to do with life-depending sentinels. So trooper like the troll or axis bomber boy wouldn't count as they do true damage.

For me the troll, is still a great companion.
Besides that i'd rather stick with magicians (nobody beats my corrupt general and wicker dog queen.

Speaking of warriors, my samurai eddie only got his 5* talismans after the patch, so i don't know his pre-patch damage numbers, yet his future basic attack still hits 8-12k damage! Wonder what that damage was before...

Or, the fan club for Hellhound and others knows to be quite about them instead of shooting ourselves in the foot.

I voted for the Troll because that passive can save your life, it's got a solid basic attack and a power attack for more shieldy goodness. Angel of Fear is a very close second but can kinda miff on auto-farming because the AI won't time attacks right. PSS and ABB are both in the running too.

Rocket Dog is really good, but I'm somewhat annoyed that several really good Warriors (namely Troll, AoF, and ABB) do True damage with their basic attacks and don't benefit from Lifesteal. (True damage has its own advantages, of course, but still)

Is the Axis Bomber Boy really that great? Sure, his Passive can be useful but his Radar move is weird and he seems to made of glass. That Bomber Boy round at the end of the Battlefield secret location (Endless Rain) is the easiest thing in the entire level.

It's extremely hard to have a new good character that you don't have now...
