to add to my last thread, what is the best magus ally? i need to get 25 skulls more to get GR eddie but i can't progress, i do have the materials to make a 5* magus ally, so what is the best choice in your opinion? again, excluding the corrupt general! :)

I upgraded the allied soldier to 5* and thus far it's been quite effective. I've also upgraded the pharaoh dog, but just because I needed a healer and didn't have the PDK. In the meantime, I don't have the intention to upgrade more magi characters.

Magus Child of the Damned is pretty nice, but it lacks the healing prowess that a lot of other characters in that class have. Although I haven't fully tested him, the Pharaoh Water Spirit has a moveset that has some good potential, depending on the damage and healing outputs!

For me,

1- Corrupt General
2- Masked Harpy (currently)

Masked Harpy become pretty solid and balanced character after last tuning. Highest Special Stat, hard hitting AOE & leaves Magic burns for 2 turns most of the time. I will even put some skillshards on her :cool:

Helped me beat the game with his heal passive and his magic boost causes huge damage. Coupled with my visions eddie made a fairly indestructible pair :)

I have two of them, and my original was the first 5* chatacter I ever got from a soul, but I was never a massive fan. If it's attack was AoE, it might have helped, but the passive wasn't enough him to win me over.

Land a curse with pdk an deal 50% more dmg. Use magic charge for another 100% dmg boost. I like that atleast :)

PDK is good in the warrior dungeon. Gives his boost and GR Eddie
rips through nearly everything with his future basic.
