Characters with increased attack or magic based on Hp max? (ex. Blue soldier or AoF)

When it says attack or magic increase based on your max hp, they mean the basic max hp or including hp added from talismans too?!??!???!? So it's better to upgrade magic or hp to get a better attack power? (Sorry for bad english!)

they mean the hp including talisman boost. everything else doesn't make sense :)

it's necessary to test what is the best build (more hp or more magic/attack), there in not only one anwer to that problem. depends on what you prefer.

My opinion is that you almost always get the most damage from maxing the basic damage stat (ATK or MAG).

HOWEVER that is not always the best build. Use that secondary stat strategically to get some other use (boost defense, make a toon more tanky, increase special/fury generation) without loosing as much damage.
