Only Last 10 attacks visible, Why?

Why do we only see the last 10 attacks in Defense? I wake up to 30-50 attacks and only get to revenge the last 10.

You only get 20 (I think) revenges per day anyways

That's true, but I still like to know who is attacking me. I only revenge the ones that beat me.
