I hate to be the next one after BillLion and IceManFerrar and I swear this is all coincidence, but I've been planning on taking a break from LotB once the new month kicks in.
Why? A few things.
- You probably know by now that I have little interest in PVP, and once the update changed the Daily Rewards, rather than do 3 battles a day and get back to other stuff, I just collected my 5 Ironite (instead of 15) and went on. Very minor I know, but a little change like that was a surprisingly big motivation hit for me.
- Crashes. My game's been fairly stable (0-2 MACLO/PVTE1s a day) since the beginning of the year, but in the lead up to PVP my game has been crashing to desktop more than I care. I used to be about 2 a day, but since the PVP update it feels like 5-10 a day and that feels incredibly unfair to my Troopers.
- I want some more time in my day. Time not spent on LOTB. Even without playing PVP, I've become very aware of the amount of hours spent each day on the game and currently I am at a point where I am not willing to invest that amount of time.
Don't get me wrong, I still like the game and I am mostly happy with the direction it's taking but I need to take a break right now. I cannot say when I return (maybe when BNW and Night City show up, but more likely when I've made significant progress with my studies), but I will stop with Trooper point collecting after February 28. So feel free to drop me then.
I'll probably check the forums intermittently though, and I'll keep you informed when I decide to return.
If you want though, I can throw a PVP defense team together while I'm gone. Free points for you. One hint: bring Immunity.
Up the Irons!
