Hell of a lot better than mine. Though, when I got the purple ring leveled up I got 7 skill shards.

Yeah I found the vortex thing is where the good stuff is. I got 9 shards from my first fill and 7 the 2nd. Nice addition and something to work towards. And these were a couple of the lucky ones, I had tons of souls saved up: 5 legendary, a dozen or so GA, like 40 rare souls, 20+ nautical, half dozen of each color and only noteworthy pull was a Tailgunner Eddie, all the rest was junk and zero 5*. Smited by the rng gods! I do have 30 skill shards now though :)

Did you happen to notice if you got 1 skill shard per character sacrificed? The reason I ask is I got 10 skill shards for 10 characters the first time. The second time I was able to fill the meter with 7 and got 7 skill shards. Perhaps I should have just threw 3 one stars in and got 10.
