I'm pretty sure that is the way it's supposed to work. Same with CG if he stuns someone, and the same if a talisman effect is used and the character withe the talisman dies. Maybe one of the few things that works like it's supposed to.

See, now to me, that's just wrong. Certain talisman effects I get but not freeze & paralysis. Once ur stunned or frozen that's it, til next turn. Imo

Probably take a lot code changes to make it work that way. I think a lot of the talisman effects and abilities rely on the same code. That would explain why prisoner breaks passives as well as talismans, why the newborns counterattack went haywire when the new talismans came out. Don't know if they'll ever get it all cleaned up.

She is also unable to steal from toons who have immunity, whereas she was able to do so before the most recent update. Heavily cripples her usefulness.
