Glitch??

I FINALLY got the game back on my phone after several months. (I've had it on my tablet the whole time. though, but couldn't play as often as i'd like). Now on ailing kingdom on normal, "the evil that men do" only has two skulls for some reason. It took a few tries to get 5 power hits in without killing the team. Had to use the weakest characters I have, a lvl 1 pumpkin and a lvl 1 blue allied soldier. 5 power abilities used, even popped up that I did it. Finish battle and go back, still only two skulls. WTF. Now I can't even do the secret mission.

Anyone else have a weird issue like this?
