Passives of dead characters still triggering

For example angel of fears extra turn still triggering AFTER the angel of fear has been killed. I kill the enemy's angel of fear, next turn the enemy kills one of my characters and still gets an extra turn. Possibly a side effect of the prisoner nerf.
