Question on GCR- had her forever but never used her. Did some experimenting with her today.
So her revive skill grants all allies endure and if you use it while all allies are alive all characters do in fact get endure, including eddies. If you use the revive skill with a dead Allie they are revived and they get endure.
But if you revive an Eddie he does not get endure? Is this intended? I tested several times with many eddies and he never got endure.

I believe that's a bug. I remember people discussing it before.

Her Endure works fine even with Eddies, the bug is just visual. In the next turn after the skill is used the 1 turn endure will show up.

Fragments are still locked (Skill Shard as well) and Strike Talismans are nowhere to be seen.

Strike Talismans are particulary frustrating given that this is last chance, but since the only factor with the fragments is time, this is really inconvenient.

Tried several restarts as well as three different devices...

True. EDIT: After some more testing Eddies can also be killed in the second round after beeing revieved. Only on other toons than Eddies will endure show up in the second round.

Yes I have seen the issue with the hidden endure icon but this is different. Revived eddies never get endure. I am guessing this has something to do with the fact that before pvp an Eddie could never be revived. So maybe eddies were never coded to receive that buff

Strike Talismans are already gone from the store for me...

Looks like an update to the store scheduling got mis-timed. The talismans are back in the store for the remainder of the time until PVP reset (4.5 hours as of this writing).

Hey Sparton, thanks for looking into this! Fortunately I still have time to purchase for them.

Strike (Fierce) is still locked, though. Interestingly that was the case last week as well, up until about ca. 2 hours before the reset. Hope that will be the case again.

(Fragments and the Skill Shard are unlocked now)

This is an interesting one, I assumed when 2 Prisoner's were on the field, nobody got their passives blocked because none of the X's appeared above characters heads. But my Harpy just got stunned by Angel of Fear. So, either it's still working on a coinflip for both teams and it's just not notifying us anymore, or 2 Prisoner's block everything on both sides from activating.

I have a prisoner and I have no clue how it's working right now. Sometimes red x's, sometimes not, sometimes only on one team. I've stunned a sentinel harpy even when she didn't have a red x (or a prisoner on her team). That part is probably still bugged.

Sadly, the one I have on defense doesn't seem to know that trick.

Probably a bug in the passive. I guess we enjoy it until it gets fixed. Hopefully nothing else gets broken when that happens. Still waiting for my death dog to keep his damage charge when he uses it. At least it still works on the rest of the team. It'd be nice to see his true damage potential though. He already hits gcr hard.

I just found out how hard Rainmaker hits in PVP. Almost all of the GCR's I run fall. I wonder what it'd be like with a damage charge though too. He can never survive to that point.

On the Evo Material Horde for Battlefield, Angel of Fear's extra turns are kicking off even if you don't kill the person you're aiming for. Like their health is just that millimetre away from death.

If you have them, try a combo of Resistance and Resilience talismans on your RM. Maxed set of Resistance ups DEF and MR stat to around 780. Don't have resilience (would kill for a barrier set) but that would up his HP based off ATK and MAG while giving him even numbers of ATK and MAG. Oh man, I think I actually have those and they're maxed out. Or at least a set of Resilience. I just have the usual talismans that increase attack and magic, and then I threw on a vampire set for the hell of it.

Wait... I have 3 Resistance Shied, back when they increased attack and required 3, and 2 shield Resilience. Hm, Guess I'll try that out, can't hurt right?

Upcoming App Store Release: Improved handling of negative status effects which should not be cleansable to be correctly handled in more situations (Doom, Seal, Perfect Corruption)



Additionally, while this hasn’t solved all of our error restarting woes, the app store update (once it’s available and players are playing on it) will have improved error reporting. This won’t immediately help you guys, but this is going to give the team more information for what errors you guys are hitting, and where in the code the errors are happening, so future updates can have more targeted and thorough fixes. This app store update is still being worked on, and should be released at some point within the next week.

Hi Sparton.
There is an bug with the invisibility buff, when activated (by talisman or skill) does not last the designated turns and disappears instantly when attacking. It happens when I play with beelzebub and with gunner corrupt rescuer or with any other character already in pvp or pve.

Any attack make it disappear, it is no bug.

That's how the Vanish status effect is supposed to work. From status effect description in the combat info popup:


Cannot take damage or gain negative status effects. Vanish disappears when using an attack.

We're aware that the rank can sometimes be mis-reported before the end of the event. We don't have a timeline for fixing that, though.


Not sure if it was ever covered or mention but any intention of returning gold and ironite rewards in the arena when you win a battle?

We're still working on isolating the cause for that, but we should have something bottled up for the next major update.

Something's not right with the Blood Brothers level in underworld madness, maybe the other difficulties too, I didn't try them. If you kill Beezlebub first, Wrath just dies like a minion or something. I haven't played that one in a while, but I'm pretty sure it's not supposed to be like that.

That's funny, especially with Beelzebub being the least desirable eternal. He's at least in some way superior to Wrath.:rolleyes:

yes, wrath is a joke, but the devs told that is was kind of an copy and paste error. they took ingame (PVE) wrath and brought him into the arena.
otherwise it wouldn't make sense to nerf visions and release this beast....so i'm hopefull for the next changes.

Thats what its hard to understand, if a change is planned what is the meaning of this facebook post with this image? Looks more like they will make no change at all...

he will still be very powerfull, maybe that's why? the devs have proven to be interested in the balancing aspect of the game, no way they leave him untouched intentionally i'd say...

If I had to guess, I would bet that there are different people in charge of social media than the developers that we interact with. Even if they were to make some changes to Wrath, they wouldn't announce them for the first time in a social media post. I still believe he will be nerfed.

The error related to Wrath's "Remove Beneficial Effects" chance scaling will be resolved in the next balance patch. His base chance will remain the same, but it will no longer scale. Timeline still TBD.

Tks for your answer Kaz, its a little annoying you guys nerf a toon to death and release another that break all the fun in the game and you have no idea when he will be fixed?

Will Visions be buffed again?

There will be some general rebalancing for removing beneficial effects to make defensive units more reliable in that reguard than offensive units. We'll look to post some details about that later this week.

Thanks Kaz, good to know. The game is unbalanced and now what you see in the arena is Wrath for all sides.
A lot of shards saved and nothing to do than grind..

Can't wait to see a patch notes and search for new combos and chars to upgrade.

thanks for the info kaz. please check his powermove too, seems kinda too devastating to me. right now he is tearing arena apart.

The next update will definitely have more than character tuning, but compiling details and confirmed fixes for non-character stuff always takes substantially longer, so those details won't be shared until around the time the next update actually goes live.
