Since the NBoL was upgraded, not for assassin LoL X. I will use Soldier, DM and two AGS for most LoL but got into the habit of manual play at x2, well x3 speed now, because of the poor AI on autoplay. That team would destroy the Assassin level too, before they dialed in the purple people eater, NBoL. Gonna try out purp ABB this weekend.

Also, Desert Rider power move is hitting hard on all chars after last update, unsharded. If you have one, check it out. Gunner and Assassin should be the focus for defeating this event, unless they change it up...

This will most probably a pleasant event for most of the players, and relieves the negative feelings that many have. I do like that even though another RNG is involved again, whatever the outcome is - either a new eddie or 8-9k essence to throw in the altar.

So when the LOL dungeon is open, you can play the LOL Dungeon to get these Immortal shards, and if they drop as rare as 3* Stones drop, then everyone not comfortable playing LOL VIII-X is getting nothing.

I like the idea of the 5* Eddie soul, but i doubt, i get the eddies i hope for. (Pharaoh for my Second Account, Cyborg for first or Rainmaker/Vampire hunter on both would be ideal, but i guess i'll end up with something like a Viking or a dupe Aces High Eddie on both - or even nothing, as the drop rates will be that low that it woult take weeks to get the amount for 1 soul - like the eternal soul, which really makes it's name all honor, taking an eternty to get :) )

That is what worry me the most too Satani. That the drop chances for the fragments is the same as for the 3* evo shards. If so it is not likely that I get any try for a 5*Eddie.

On the other hand that would spare me the frustration of getting a dupe even though I only have 33% chance for that.

But since I got 3k+ ironites I will certainly give it a try.

no, it's just my theoretical math. 4 Characters equal 1/4 is given. Sure they could make the chances 30% for each toon and so the eddie will have 10% left, but from the effectiveness of the clairvoyant and wrath/beast, i think, each of the four should have the same chance.

I am thinking these souls were will probably drop at the rate of regular souls or better. I am hoping an average of 10 souls a battle at LOL X, anything better then that is a huge bonus anything less then that and I think they may end up pissing off a lot of people again. At 500 souls needed I think if you use ever single SOT with no refills you might get 500. But if you use a lot of refills you have potential to get a lot more.

I'm going for several of them. Based on early drop rate info, playing higher floors for 48 hours straight would get you about 10 Immortal Souls.

So over 1000 Immortal fragments later.... dupe VE!! Damnit... guess that Samurai I scored will have to do!! :) ...also, finally picked up an AoF and some decent offerings after filling vortex meter for first time in a month.

Took about 8 or 9 SoT refills and was way cheaper than 1200 ironite for that pack of 250 fragments (don't get burned, use that 1.2k on SoT refills! Got two 5* Eds from 270 ironite) Not quite done yet... still have a bunch of ironite to burn through. Viking, Aces High, where you at?!

It's pretty late here but this is what I can remember. It took about 7 SOT refills to get over 500. The drop rates were better at the start. Played a combo of IX and X. I was able to get a Viking Eddie which is a new Eddie for me. So I'm happy about that. Let's see what tomorrow brings.

5 refills and Aces High Eddie, very happy with that.

I still have a lot of ironite so will keep farming, however I found it a little bit boring.
Why they chose yellow LoL which is so easy to complete? Not top notch team: Soldier Eddie, purple GS, AoF, CG with combust to kill Lord of Light - job done, next run.
With a choice of 5 different LoL's in the game, every wave should be random each time and Lord at the end should be random as well with mixed colour minions.
That would give a little bit of fun imho.

For me he is in this Strike Talisman heavy environment. Then again there are plenty who use an unsharded Visions or Pharaoh and do great - so where to put your shards is always an individual decision.

But I also love Gunners. I will say though - Aces High laying into an Assassin is a pretty glorious thing...

So I use him now. In a few months the meta may be different - and I find the toons I use are constantly changing. Good luck in your decision!

My luck so far this weekend. First pull was VHE, now sitting happily next to my rainmaker. Second pull was samurai, who was #2 on my list.

Bonus, got enough pit fodder to push me over on the vortex. 4 rare g/a souls 2 legendary and 2 skill shards. Assassin NBoL chose to grace me with his presence and I managed to finally catch the prisoner. If only I had some gold shards to level him up, I think I could put him to work tonight. Haha

And the best part of the evening, at the end by mistake instead of immortal soul fragments I converted all my eternity soul fragments into precious soul fragments ..... so pissed off by that.

well, on my second account, i got me yesterday: a Vampire Hunter Eddie! Seems to be a good PVE Eddie so i can sacrifice my Aces High Eddie and maybe even replace my Cyborg when he's max sharded.

My first account "only" gave me a Visions Eddie. Could replace my Grim Reaper in PVP defense, yet (for me) not enough as replacement for my offense PVE/PVP Shaman ... so i'm currently running for a second soul *fingers crossed for Cyborg, Rainmaker or Vampire Hunter* (Because the Shaman has nice effects yet due to no DMG scaling and poor damange on some moves, imo the 3 mentionned Eddies would be better.

I must admit that I am a little jealous of all you guys having the time to be able to get so many immortal souls. I have the extra ironite to do it, but not the time. I should be able to get a second soul before the event closes.

I finally got up the nerve to summon my immortal soul and I was rewarded with Viking Eddie! He was the Eddie that I wanted the most from this event, so I am ecstatic to say the least! Although it would be great to get another one of the Eddies that I do not already have with the next soul that I receive; I will be happy with this event no matter which Eddie I receive! Great job devs with the work on this event; I look forward to what you are able to come up with next!

For those who lack a Prisoner, I suggest you go incredibly hard today after reset and before tomorrow's reset if you can. The Gunner dungeon is far easier than the Assassin one after the NoL buffs.

I'm finding Assassin really easy actually, and quicker than Gunner.

Grim Reaper Ed, Angel of Fear, Desert Marauder and Nomad,

Ravage by AoF, and then Cleave by GRE kills first two waves. Do same in final waves, AoF passives grants you extra turns, and use all their basic attacks will kill the boss. Or when you get the extra turn swap GRE for Storm and his special will wipe him out. Swap DM for Assassin Souless Demon, or Assassin Demon Dog and use thir Craze or Charge skills From AoP extra turns and Storm Eddies special is even more damaging.

Pharaoh is pretty good on offense when sharded. Revive is useful and his fury move is good. Hus basic attack hit around 5-10k depending on enemy. Low on warrior, high on magus an in between on everyone else.

I get where you are coming from and I don't understand why every bloody thing has to have an RNG element and why you cannot choose.

Also for new players there is something that gets them probably a lot more competitive in PvP. I know an Eddie is not everything but ... I don't know. I had to wait very long for my 1st 5* Eddie and as a fairly new player I'd be very happy about this event ... I think :)

My expectations were met when I got Samurai from the first Soul, coincidentally the first 5* I had ever gotten - well, he gave enough essence for an ultimate sacrifice at least.

Guess I will be grinding, or better phrasing: my device will, for a second Soul but that's probably it for me. I also don't wanna know how many levels of lower Tiers (I-VII) newer players have to farm to get a single Soul. All on manual of course. That just has to be fun...

I feel u man, back on release night city was supposed to be playable in new year, but nah, we got LoL (which wasnt bad, gave us a shit ton of free ironite), then we were told BNW is coming, but nah. They say they will release BNW soon, i hope so. Content is in a dire state right now.

In my experience, things were dropping within timeframes. So for example, LOL 9 would drop 15-piece frags between :15 - :30, about 3-4 times. This seems to be less consistent this morning, but there was a definite pattern over the weekend.

Try 10 right now, I've seen stuff right at the top of the hour in there. Then try 9 between :30 - :45.

You need to play the level a few times to get the goods. First time typically drops evo shards, second time a 10-piece frag, then a couple 15's until it drops back to evo shards. That's an example, it's not the same every time. But play it like 5 times in a row.

Yes, some of us get lucky and obtain what they want/need in just a couple attempts, while others (most players) get dupes instead. Anyway, I will keep on going till I either have the missing ones or the event is ended. Wish me luck :)

Not spent any ironite yet to so just using the refills over time so far and got my first soul and it was Aces High which is a new one so pretty pleased to have a new Eddie on my roster though not seen him much he looks to have a varied skill set.

My first refill of the morning got me 115 frags. All LOL X. Thats the most I ever got in one refill. The lowest i ever got on a refill was 45. 240 frags into my 5th and final run. Id like a Cyborg or Samurai eddie but Ill be happy with any non dupe. Either way Ive really enjoyed this event.

Enti Im so glad you finally got another non dupe. Catching up on this thread has been like reading a Greek tragedy with you playing the main character. 7 dupes in a row is insane.

Not sure if this was directed @ me or not but my comment was neither negative or grumpy/sour. It is a fact! Also, everyone has the right to express their opinion, positive or negative, provided it's civil. Besides why would I be grumpy, although that is one of my nicer nicknames, I've done very well w/o spending any $. Btw, just got final frags...hello Visions #5! Again not bitching, just the facts, take a look at others rosters. Can now claim a couple more achievements & fill vortex! Hope u guys don't think the coin toss is 50/50 too!

Fragment drop rates seemed to be the same for LoL X vs. VII, though I got higher "amounts" when they did drop in X. In VII it would give me quite a bit of 5s and 10s, but only a few 15s.

Anyway, after hours of grinding LoL last night and this morning, I finally managed to get enough fragments for 2 Immortal souls. Got a Pharaoh Eddie last night, an then just now I got an Aces High Eddie.

My most desired #1 Eddie -- Cyborg, still eludes me...sigh.

Oh well, can't complain...will take Aces High Eddie over a dupe any day, lol!

PS: For the record, I must have spent over 400-450 Ironite on SoT refills to get the 1000 fragments.

I'm 295 fragments away from another Soul, and I'm pushing hard. All my data up to this point says it should be easily doable before reset.

But, if it's 10-15 minutes before reset, and it isn't going to happen, I'm not sure if I should buy the 250 fragments in the Store. As has been discussed here, they are way overpriced in absolute terms. But, at 2 minutes to midnight, would you pay 1200 Ironite if it made the difference between another Soul vs. not?

Used up over 1300 ironite I had saved up during this event. That let me open 9 Immortal Souls, with 15 fragments left over in the end (just enough for that last one!). Thank god for emulators and autoplay lol, couldn't have done it without those tools.

I played as much as life permitted me. I walked away with a Viking Eddie and a dupe Shaman. That one went into the pool mixed in with other sacficed souls and 3 precious which returned 15 rare and 7 A/G souls. Opened all 7 A/G which yielded nothing...

I loved the event. Got 1 character I didn't have for basically 1440 ironite. Can't wait to open all those harpys and assorted soldiers...😩

I absolutely loved the event.

But, having only 3 of the 9 5* Eddies going into it, the odds of getting only 1 non-dupe out of 6 are pretty low. Had I seen this outcome in advance, I probably would have enjoyed the sun instead. Maybe my luck will be better next time. More drop rate analysis to follow later in the other thread.

Thanks for the event, this had to be the best one you guys at NF have done in this respect. While I didn't get Viking or Aces, I did manage the following:

Already had Visions but was able to fill vortex meter and picked up an AoF and a bunch of offerings. Also rare souls and skill shards have been dropping like crazy for me this weekend so it's nice to see the RNGesus be so generous.

This event was so cool. I had amazing luck. I was't available to play as much the 2nd half of the week, but started grinding hard Sunday evening and today.

I used up somewhere around 1300 ironite.

I've had terrible luck scoring 4 star, much less 5 star Eddies. I did score a Carriage Rider just a few weeks ago. The only 5 star I ever had drop for me was Aces High.

I had my list of wants with Samurai being perhaps #1.
