Defense-enhancing talismans

I am currently boosting my recently acquired Pharaoh Eddie, and I equipped him with a health set (+15% hp), a stone set (Def by 1% hp) and an iron set (+15% Def). At the moment, these talismans are at 3* level 1, but I noticed that both the stone and the iron sets don't give the additional increase in Def. I noticed it because the Def stat stays the same (+144) with the set bonuses and with equivalent talismans of other sets to avoid the bonuses.

I don't know if everyone is aware of this bug, but I couldn't find any references here in the message boards.

There hasn't been a specific thread for it yet as far as I know, but a few people have brought up this bug in the various update/event discussion threads.

Interestingly, there used to be a bug with Stone Talismans for quite some time where they would not show the set bonus, and yet people like Wicker Man/FotD would do higher damage with Stone Talismans compared to any other greens. So the bonus was there, just not visible. I wonder if this is the same bug returned and extended to Iron Talismans. I'd test, but I don't have the time at the moment :/
