Relax...they are going to provide a new game mode soon that will exclusively provide 3stars evo shards.

I am kinda relieved about removing the 3* shards from the story mode... Been grinding underworld madness for 2 weeks now to evolve soldier eddie to 5 star and it resulted in 2 yellow shards only. Almost drove me insane that no matter which level I'm at, I never get the remaining 4 *** yellow evos - pretty infuriating. Now I know at least that I have no chance to obtain those until the update: no anger, no disappointment etc, only autoplay for trooper badges and coins till the new content. And yeah, the four star rune drop is a great plus - however, I noticed that talisman/rune affinity is broken since patch, but this is probably reported in the bug section already
