His passive is taking damage for each ally that would get to less than 50% health when taking an attack. His special which cost 6 has a chance to taunt but also gives him invincibility and immunity for 1 turn.
Invincibility should negate all damage done. Still, if an ally takes damage that would lower their HP to less than 50% health, the Angel takes the damage despite invincibility - defeating his very purpose as a tank.
