Yeah, especially on iOS, it takes time between when we can bring the game down for maintenance, when we can perform our final Go-No-Go checks for release, and when the update will show up in the store. Should be within the hour.

Thanks for the fixes - not for the challenges ones - luckily I managed to get my GD thanks to awesome tips of the forum members, yet I know that there are still some peps who haven't claimed him due to the bugs...
As I know you're monitoring this thread I would allow myself to ask you about something different - first thing - achievements: what's this about ''Profound Offering'' - doing ultimate sacrifice or BETTER? As far I know the ultimate is the last step, so... I need to do this and fill the vortex metter at the same time or what? Or this is another mistake in the description?
Second thing: Precious souls - how it is that everytime I got one from fagments i've collected and then I change them into this one particular soul I am getting one 3* soul, and just once maybe twice so far I have got exactly 3* characters - either Golden Idol either Sacrificial Heart... The vast majority of time I am getting 1* characters of 3* star soul... When you have normal 3* soul you NEVER pull character lower than 3* - so why with precious souls is different? You very well know that you can be pulled someting better than 3* out of normal 3* rare/precious and that's fine to me, yet this is not fair from my point of view to get 1* of those precoius ones...

Thanks for the update. No issues so far, but haven't played much. I did manage to claim two skill shards from achievements finally, one that I would have just reached and the other that's been sitting there for a while. That part worked at least.

Update was finally available in iOS and Achievements bug is fixed, thank you, I was able to get my skill Shard for 120 Achievements.

All good so far plus managed to grab two skill shards from achievements which were not working previously. Can't wait for Trooper Eddie though...

Thanks for the update. Just dropped 10 souls and got one char from it! This bug has been known for months! So great job! If I were to work like that, I would be fired!

Hey Sparton, Since you're here...
I'm just curious if strike talismans will ever be available again? I missed my chance when they were around (don't honestly know when it was actually?? Didn't even know they existed til I got counter attacked in PvP one day.)
Apparently I was in my own little world around that time :(
Please let me know if I will ever have a chance to get them lol

Thanks for the update. Just dropped 10 souls and got one char from it! This bug has been known for months! So great job! If I were to work like that, I would be fired!
So this bug was not fixed? I've sent in several tickets reporting this issue. The CS team had assured me that I'm only charged 100 gold not 1000, but who can be sure since we can no longer see the 1's, 10's, 100's places in our gold count.

This may keep me playing a little bit longer but if they don't come up soon with any new content I'll be joining the drop outs. :mad:

It's worded like that in case we want to add more sacrifice tiers above the Ultimate Sacrifice tier. There's no immediate plans for that, but to avoid having a lot of carefully worded objective strings that then need to be monitored and updated if certain situations change, we felt it best to be general in places like that.

You can also get 5 star hearts/idols from the Precious Soul too, and it would be unusual to get a 5 star character out of the sliver soul art we use for Common Souls. We felt the "middle" tier soul art that's the bigger sphere was the best bet with that in mind.

Many of the different talismans we've debuted for a limited time (Strike, Vampiric, Guard, etc) will return as farmable items in the Brave New World, but may also return in a limited fashion in other manners (like how Immunity Talismans were a 1 day deal last week in the PVP store).

As far as I know, all reported instances of hard or madness quests not counting for missions were fixed (which is bullet points 2-4 under Challenges Fixes in the update thread). While most people reported that many missions would not work except on normal, we found that most of the missions involving specific cosmos quests were set up correctly and just those 3 were not. If there are other instances of Madness version of quests not working, do let us know and we can investigate.

Just want to say thanks for the update. Those 2 Skill Shards will be mighty useful.
And I am pleased to announce that FX are back in my game! No more Cyborg threateningly waving his guns around. Ah well, it was fun while it lasted.

Thanks Sparton, here's hoping the delay is because BNW is so massive! The short video footage of it a few months back makes it seem like it is. Is it safe to assume all talismans, past and present, will return with the release?

At it's launch, it'll have every talisman we've had available for a limited time, plus a few talismans which haven't even been released yet, but some of the talismans will take a very long time to grind out a set of.

Very glad to see the mission and achievement counter caught up and I got 2 skill shards. Curses! I'm one point away from getting my Gunner pup and I won't be able to get it until the LoL dungeon opens back up.

The bad side of the update for me, having to delete several apps to have enough space to perform the update. Then finding out the download was barely over 8MB and the difference in free space before and after update is barely noticeable. It seems the game requires a decent amount (500+ mb) of free space to perform updates regardless of how big or small the update is...its a common problem for me with this game, only having 8GB internal storage using Android on my tablet. Yet no other apps give me this kind of grief when performing updates. An update for BNW has me worried, I'll have no other apps left besides LotB at this rate!
On the positive side the achievement fixes and more skill shards are very good :)
And to make this clear, we can now use troopers on any remaining missions we have left? I'll need a trooper of Gunner class to help me complete Gunner Trail III.

I should be fine with Eddies using my Soldier and Cyborg, I could do with a Prisoner (disable passives) or GCR (revive and titan shield) to help get my team over the line. I have a couple of troopers with the latter so if I can use them I should be okay. If not I'll let you know via PM, thanks for the offer :)

Hi Sparton,
There seems to be some residual issues with the attack list and certain players like JAWolf are at the top while no one else can see them. Will this get adjusted AFTER the Saturday rush?
I would imagine it must be deflating on their end to be near the top and then have that stripped. They will likely get passed on the climb for Eternal, but it could be an easy top 10 for them which of course then robs a more deserving player of a skill shard.

I have a max shard/tali prisoner i can set as my champ instead of GRE if you or anyone need him for the mission. James-2151 ingame.

They are being attacked, and have ratios comparable to others in the top 10 as far as I can tell when I've checked in on them.
That said, not everyone who is ranked near the top seeing others around their rank is still peculiar, and we are investigating.
Sparton, I was hoping that the game freeze in PVP will get fixed too but apparently it hasn't. Lost many fights against teams with GCR & Wrath, when GCR revives Wrath game always freezes. Any plans on fixing it soon?
There is a known issue that combat hangs can occur if you are not playing on 3x speed.
Otherwise, we need more specifics to isolate and fix other combat hangs.
- when will counter work correct (my counters still get countered)
- AoF still not knows, when someone is dead
- Soldier Eddies Roulette gets countered
- when prisoner dies, some passives still not appear
The Roulette getting counter is odd; for whatever reason, we've been not able to reproduce that in the office, and as such are not close to finding a fix for that issue.
The other issues are known, but I do not have an ETA for fixes not in this update (we're in the process of triaging and prioritizing issues for the next update now that the most recent one has gone live).

Try to stun/freeze first. When using roulette after that, those with strike talismans will counter. But they will counter the toon that stun/froze them, and not Soldier Ed/Aces High Ed.

Resurrecting characters still seems to cause troubles :/

Yup, when the stun/freeze wear off for sure. But I'm pretty sure I have seen toons dudge the stun/freeze and then revenge on my MCR when I used Soldier Ed's roulette. Those with strike talismans ofc.

1. and so shouldn't immune toons get stunned, first blood shouldn't provide extra turn on living toons/or multiple times, shields shouldn't replenish on every attack, toons shouldn't regain HP without a skill to do so,and so on and so on. Can't blame you for overlooking this one in that pile of bugs we've got, Sparton.
I have also seen VE getting countered after using heal on allies.
2. So we have an option to choose from 3 speeds to play on, but we can choose 2x wrong and once right. HAHAHAAA

The Roulette getting counter is odd; for whatever reason, we've been not able to reproduce that in the office, and as such are not close to finding a fix for that issue.
Try it with a NBOL on the attacked team

Before the last update it happened to me when reviving the prisoner and the magus corrupt rescuer, with my GR Eddie's fury.
This time it happened after the update, when the AI revived a character (can' remember which one though), with the magus corrupt rescuer's "resuscitate".
Yeah, i always play on 3x speed, don't tell me i have to play slowly not to risk the freezes :E

Heads up to those following the thread; we previously thought we had a fix for using troopers preventing you from completing mission objectives; however, based on reports from players we've identified there are still some circumstances where a trooper being on your team will prevent mission objective progress from being logged.
I've adjusted the patch notes post accordingly. For the time being, please do not bring a trooper into a quest if you're intending to make progress on a mission.

Have to call bullshit on that one! Last hour b4 reset...2 freezes, both @ 3X speed! 1 vs Carlos, always get freezes/bugs vs Carlos! Hold not revenged btw! Don't remember who the 2nd was against but I can tell u 3 or 4 invisible players it wasn't!!!
And what's with all the damage tracers? Flashbacks to highschool!

Hello Sparton, here a few bugs for the team:
Undead Rescuer Warrior detour not reflecting damage to enemies and instead trying to apply to team.
Corrupt Rescuer Gunner resucitate applies randomly an invisible Endure buff to the resurrected character, or sometimes it doesn't.
A team with no Angel of Fear gets an extra turn (very rare).
A team with Angel of Fear gets a character with endure to 0HP but no kill and gets the extra turn, even when the character lives (also rare but it's there).
Health bars not reporting real HP or bouncing back.
Game wait status - PVP - Just happened vs Lulero at 9:25 (CST), maybe you can check the logs, basically characters just stand there doing nothing and your only option is to forfeit the match.
Corrupt Rescuer Gunner Resucitates prisoner, prisoner applies the disable passive to it's own team

Not sure if somebody already mentioned it - so I do...
The game ''eats'' huge - I mean - HUGE - memory space... Right after finishing playing my tablet reports me that memory is used at 75% - 9,3 GB used!!! After a while it drops to 4,8 GB... The game is really slow while switching between screens... My Xperia tablet is rooted with switched memories - my internal is MicroSD card 64 GB... Shall I put there 128 GB to your game running smoothly? (I have over 15 games on the tablet - bunch of GTAs, FIFAs, Tomb Raiders, Hitmans, Max Payne and whatever not there - and I have such problem while playing JUST and ONLY Lotb)...
Sure I know I could be clear cache, reinstall and maybe it could help - but I won't be trying again... Once did and been locked for a few weeks (Login failed stuff was popping out...)
Second thing: pretty please make all Eddies available again as their original rank (1*, 2**): Soldier Eddie, Wickerman Eddie and so Holy Smokes... That way you no need to change anything in Legendary pool... It happened that I've sacrificed them and I wish to get them back someday, yet they have to be available... I am sure I am not the only one, who sacrficed them and missing them a little ;)

I recently use her a lot in offense. Works great in a team with Wickerman Eddie. Those new blue talismans work very well on her.
I'm changing between her and the newborn assassin.

I don't think he is countering the counters tbh. I think he counters the taunts, but because the taunt was put on by him countering your offense, it seems a bug. It's not. I used him in defense today and tested it several times.
His team would go, putting a taunt on. When the taunt hit is returned, he counters ( if he has the strike talis, obviously.) I ran through it about ten times to watch him.
I really believe it just feels like a bug, but actually is working as it should. It just can be a pain in the ass. That said, NF, please do not nerf. SSD, fully sharded even, is very easy to kill.

while i agree with most of your statement i just think 55% is way to much. 45% like wrath/vhe would be more reasonable since he also does pretty nice aoe true damage.

I am using all the time The Blue Gal since I've got her and shortly after been maxed... And I can tell you that many folks still using her, anyway at least there where I belong... Yet I am afraid we're not playing in the same league, Sir! LOL
