Characters:
Golden Son from unkillable into game freeze: Killed golden son 0 hp, but he wont die, then GS got frozen by talisman Freeze tried to apply damage on his turn, character dissappeared game froze, had to close app as it was unresponsive. reference: Blacksteel vs darnus8086 10/22/2017 11:22 AM CST
Angel of Fear is killed first as is most of his team, AoF is revived, his team kills one enemy his team gets the extra turn, wtf, gg.
Angel of Fear/Prisoner: If Prisoner is present, AoF passive won't activate even if AoF has immunity talisman and it's team gets the first kill, but the Extra Turn might still be given suddenly after prisoner dies.
Angel of Fear's team kills an opponent first and passive doesn't trigger, no extra turn.
Angel of Fear's passive is still granting an extra turn if a character with endure reaches 0/1 HP.
Artillery dog: immunity from passive seems to be there and it's shown but it doesn't always work and can get negative effects sometimes
Assassin CotD: sometimes gets a kill but no extra turn
Chopper: inflicts blindness on a char with immunity (artillery dog)
Chopper: Risky Ride disabling passives of characters that have immunity buff active.
Chopper: Disable passive applied to assassin COTD whom kills a character while de-buffed and still gets an extra turn, COTD passive should not work when disabled and Disable passive should work as intended stopping passives.
Corrupt Rescuer Gunner resuscitate applies, randomly, an invisible Endure buff to the resurrected character, sometimes it doesn't.
Corrupt Rescuer Gunner resuscitates prisoner, prisoner applies his disable passive to it's own team
Corrupt Rescuer Warrior/Angel Of Strife absorbing a miss (non)damage directed to an invisible character that was attacked.
Death Dog's Charge not applying to the whole team.
Gunner Dog: A.I. is not using Howl ability, not once, not even when he is the second to last character left and hurt, it's like is not there.
Gunner Corrupt Rescuer: Revives, prisoner or other, game freezes.
Prisoner/artillery dog: Passives don't seem to work in the first round when the enemy has a prisoner and you have an artillery dog with immunity. immunity is shown on all toons but it doesn't work despite that.
Prisoner: passive has erratic behavior.
Undead Rescuer Warrior/Mark: while he has immunity if mark is applied to a different character mark won't be applied instead it will be absorbed by URW.
Undead Rescuer Warrior/Thorn/Detour: If WUR has thorns and detour active and then a different character with not a single buff on it is hit and WUR absorbs along with damage reflection the thorn effect will sometimes be applied as if the character actually had thorns, thorns shouldn't activate by detours effect, should it?.
Undead Rescuer Magus: not receiving passive bonus from regen/buffs not sticking (this seems related to having immunity talismans).
Block(Passive) All Chars: A team that has 2 or more characters with block, if one character gains invincibility and is attacked the other character with block will take the damage this should not happen as there was no damage dealt in first place.
Block(Passive): Block allowing characters to die by not absorbing the damage, seems damage reflection can in some cases kill characters even when there is a character with the block passive alive and working.
Items:
Cyclone shields: erratic behavior see thorn talisman.
Immortal Talisman/Revive: Character with negative effects dies and it's revived by Immortal Talisman, sometimes the negative effects are lost (cleansed?), sometimes effects remain, what should it be?.
Strike: A character is revived strike and all buffs are lost and are not shown anymore but character still counters after revival.
Strike/Immortal: Wrath has strike and Immortal, strike is removed by WUR, Other character kills Wrath later in the turn, wrath revives AND COUNTERS, wtf?, game freezes next WTF^2!!!
Gameplay/UI:
Angel of Strife's Shriek has the word Invincibility incorrectly spelled as 'invincibiity'
Double/Delayed clicking - This means a click that causes a screen change - click wait a second then click again or click while the screen is changing/updating values - on the Arena after a fight it can send UI to a regular dungeon level.
Double/Delayed clicking on Arena's 'battle' button, launches 2 battles causing the application to close with message error and after the battle has started, this only seems to happen when fighting vs the very bottom of the list (b/c of button position overlap).
BNW, Any dungeon can freeze, i.e. Garden of Fear IX freezing at boss battle, the longer the battle the more likely the freeze, other BNW levels freeze as well.
Buttons on PVP will stop responding, happened on a first turn after a counter and gaining some power.
Game wait status - PVP - AKA Freeze - characters just stand there doing nothing and the only option is to forfeit the match.
Resuscitate sends the game into a wait state where no input is further accepted and the only option is to exit, seems to happen with most characters that use the skill.
Resurrected character taking reduced damage without any effect on it, for reference: 08/14/2017 4:52 CST Blacksteel vs Kardas.
Revived character keeps negative effects.
Character with Immortality talisman is killed then resurrects with less than 60%
Permadeath effect does not always work and characters are allowed to resurrect.
BNW and PVP buttons disappearing.
BNW dungeons freeze
Community posted workaround for Garden of Dismay freeze: Kill the MCRs first then kill the center demon spawn.
Arena team selection tabs disappearing randomly
Some Achievements not being tracked (achievements completed not tracking all achievements, competitor) or claimed by some players.
Book of souls not stacking/grouping souls of the same type correctly creating long lists.
PvP camera looks up at the sky and characters can't be selected anymore nor exit button clicked, app needs to be closed (happened after using VHE Fury, thorns could have been involved).
Requires further confirmation (has occurred only once or hasn't occurred in a while):
PVP - Golden pharaoh dog applies cleanse to enemy team
A team with no Angel of Fear gets an extra turn.
Enemy attacking twice.
Prisoner: passive blocking buffs.
Angel of Fear gets a character with endure to 0HP but no kill and gets the extra turn, even when the character lives.
Achievements: "Achievements completed" not counting the new "Use skill shards levels"
Wrath/Immortal Talisman causing freeze upon revival.
Wrath/Immortal Talisman/Strike, Wrath is killed, revives without any beneficial effect and then counters, if it can counter it should have the strike buff effect displayed otherwise it shouldn't counter.
VHE: Revives character, freezes game.
Clairvoyant's Fury no longer heals herself after she is revived.
GRE:Revives team, freezes game.
Valkyrie Assassin Stuns chars who don't have a buff. Seems that passives from characters like prisoner or GPD count as buffs for her so she stuns them.
Thorn talisman: is causing weird varied behavior, especially when combined with other effects, i.e. leads to reflect loops maybe weird fury increase and severe slow downs, some reports indicate battles taking up to eleven minutes until the loop ends.
Fixed:
Undead Rescuer Warrior detour not reflecting damage to enemies and instead trying to apply to team. ... FIXED...
Health bars not reporting real HP or bouncing back. ... FIXED...
Some of these errors seem related to underlying system implementation not character related so hopefully one fix will take down many different issues.
Disclaimer: This is a community effort to help Nodding Frog keep track and make sure that the bugs found by players are being acknowledged and ideally fixed, it is not intended to save you from Armageddon or Communication Breakdown and whatever NF decides to do with this information I cannot be held responsible.

There's a few more bugs I've seen with GCR. I've had Viking steal her shield which gave him a replenishing Titan Shield too (doesn't seem to always happen though... not sure)
Similarly, MCR will not steal GCR's Shield, making her fairly useless against her.
I've also heard Immunity Talismans allow a character's Passive to work against the Prisoner for one turn, but giving Artillery Dog a set won't do that at all (I suspect the same for Hell Hound but I don't have him).
I've also had a few fights where sometimes AoF's First Blood (no Immunity on AoF in this case) triggers upon killing the Prisoner, and sometimes it just doesn't. Despite the Prisoner being the first to go down in that battle.

Said it in another thread but...
Prisoner is blocking revenge sometimes on NBoL assassin and warrior sometimes even when the Passover aren't blocked
Came here specifically to say twice today, my void shield has acted against me rather than the defense. Team was a Samurai, Green Harpy, Wrath, and GCR. They had no shields themselves. Only thing they had were strike talis. Twice the damage when they hit me with my void shield up removed my beneficial effects, and hit me back.

Yes these bugs are very annoying, today lost a match and almost a second one against Bradata (nice team BTW), because of the corrupt rescuer invisible endurance bug, happened to the undead rescuer after resurrection, you just don't know if the effect is there or if it was removed after an attack with a removal abiliy, when I realized what was happening it was game over.
I wonder if the @Devs are looking at these reports, hey @Sparton you there?, can you please acknowledge this is being taken care of?.
Also I saw the prisoner applying his passive to his own team again.
A team with Angel of Fear gets a character with endure to 0HP but no kill and gets the extra turn, even when the character lives (also rare but it's there).
Use my AoF constantly in PVP & PVE and this happens very often here.

Well, Sparton seems now to be aware of the bugs, no confirmation about any particular issue has been given other than mentioning that they are committed to chipping away at long term combat issues and that issues will be addressed on a per-update basis of evaluation.
Seems that they are working hard on the release for BNW, so that's nice, we don't have an official mention about a date but they will be releasing some fixes around mid August and one might guess BNW will follow soon after.

I already reported this in other threads after it happened with GR Eddie's fury and corrupt rescuer's resuscitate; this time it happened with the Mystic Eddie's holy path (who indeed gives immortality and makes allies resuscitate):
indeed after i killed one of the opponent's chaacters who had the buff, after he resurrected the game freezed again, without letting me do anything in spite i could make the play button switch to automatic (nothing happened anyways) and had to restart the game

It's great that you add the extra detail, makes it clear that this is not tied to a special character but to the implementation and related operations, yep, has been reported before and it's about time for them to do something to fix this.
Sometimes just selecting the option to exit the match will help you to avoid the restart, the battle will be lost as expected tho.

I attacked Tman today and the exact same thing happened to me except his GCR reveived Wrath. Had to quit the battle to get any further. Then I attacked him again and the same thing happened once more. :mad: So I attacked him a third time, but this time I killed his GCR first to avoid the bug...

Disclaimer: Those are only theories, but I try to stick to stuff I was able to confirm countless times.
A "kill" counts if and only if the now dead character was the main target of the attack (bug)
Meaning if you target Wrath and Undead Rescuer dies as a result it doesn't count.
Same thing if you target Corrupt Rescuer with Wrath, not killing the former but another toon, it doesn't count either.
In both cases, if you have AoF, no extra turn. And If your opponent does have AoF he can still get one.
This bug can add some light on some reports that are off the mark.
In some occasions, passives supposed to work only at the start may be reactivated during the fight
Resurrecting a character can achieve that, but is rather erratic. Definitely a bug.
Getting rid of the "passive disable" debuff also can. If passive wasn't activated before, is it a bug?
From my experience, may not happen at all or only partially.
For example resurrecting Desert Marauder might
- do nothing
- grant perfect hit for some allies but not necessarily all of them
In the case of AoF, it's a wild guess but I think same happens.
Some characters on the team may now trigger extra turn again while others won't.
Without a better knowledge of how it actually works, hard to tell.
Does anyone have a better theory?
Regarding endure and death
Permadeath explicitly counters endure, making it sound like reaching 0hp with endure on could be considered as a kill.
Thus getting an extra turn with AoF might be working as intended and not be a bug.

It's difficult to draw real conclusions without having proper access to the logs and source, but is nice to see that you have gathered info as well.
If I was to guess I would venture to think that some of these problems could be related to server de-sync or failure to timely process (competing?) requests or maybe not all game states/cases are fully implemented yet.
Take as example the health bar scenario which I find is common on PvP, if you hit a character the health bar drops to the expected value then it bounces back/refills after a moment, but if you hit it again the health drops to show what it should be with the new damage added, the 'bounce back' is more of a ghost, this could happen if there is a mismatch between the client and server and this could also lead to conflict and overall instability.
Another example is when Lucy's resurrects and applies endure + to the character, sometimes endure is invisible until the next round starts, then it suddenly shows as the server seems to do a refresh and re-evaluate states, which is a drag because you need the status feedback real-time not the next round when all is done and GG.

This one isn't PVP, but it seems one of the Skull Quests is counting as an Arena battle now for the daily missions. Think it's either Evo Material Cache or Gold and Soul Horde.

Wish I didn't experienced that, though, it's currently my only loss after this saturday's reset. But you're right, Lucy is all over these days, I've had in one of my lists someone who had two of them in the defense... and I've just skipped attacking him/her, as I thought that the match would last forever...

Has anyone else experienced these days the weird bug in the Arena, that lets you battle a second time those slots you already fought, in the defence page?
Sometimes, after i select and fight some players in the defence slots, they properly appear locked at the end of the battle, but after several fights they appear available again and i can fight against them for the second time :confused:

Yeah... I did the same thing. It's weird though, 2 days out of the weekend skull quests counted as Arena battles. Unless I got attacked at the same time, which wouldn't coun anyway.

The Prisoner doesn't always disable enemy passives on the first turn (it's supposed to be guaranteed at the start of battle). I see def/MR buffs on enemies at the start of arena battles all the time, and I almost always get the silence/drain debuffs from the demon spawn in BNW dungeons
Then, there's that small issue of the game crashing ALL THE TIME. Like, constantly. From any screen, during any event or action. Every few minutes. I don't even bother playing anymore

Void shield. How i hate this: when i have it on my team, it doesn't protect from single attacks most of times (only from AoE attacks), while when it's the enemy squad to have it, the damage I deal gets always returned correctly, even on single attacks
GCR: not sure if it's intended or not, but his revive now doesn't apply endure to the resuscitated char 95% of times (only sometimes it does)

Thanks Mariner, updated the list with additional detail regarding the AOF.
As for the Void shield, maybe the attacks that are not being stopped come from a True damage source, void shield will not stop True damage.
GCR does that sometimes, she applies the endure but not always and when she does it's just invisible which can be confusing and cost a match after one realizes a target character won't die and/or attacks were wasted.

The game's freezes strike again with characters getting revived...today it happened twice against a team having Vampire hunter Eddie and the warrior undead rescuer:
Both times VHE uses his fury and revives allies included the rescuer, who performs the animation of his basic attack; but then the game freezed and i had to force quit in both occasions, probably losing the matches 😕

Buttons disappearing on BNW and PVP have been reported many times and so far the only official answer I can find is that they are working on it and making sure it's being tracked.

If so, you have to make sure to kill the two minions before the mini boss in the third wave. That picture is what happens on the fourth wave if you kill the boss first. There's also a weird thing with the dragon king where the buttons disappear when he transforms. If you wait about ten seconds they come back.
Hope this helps, these are the only two I've run into so far.

I used the permanent death mark on the whole adversary team. I killed Wrath with the mark still active. The vampire hunter uses fury skill and Wrath to return to life. I lost 4 times for this bug against blacksteel. Besides, his vampire is inviting for the effect of immortal talismans and my valchiria no.

I saw something similar happening once when I was experimenting with the golden son's effect and thorn talisman, but it only happened once so it wasn't reported on the thread yet, will add it to the list.
If can you please let me know how the permadeath effect was applied, (which)character or talisman did, I will add more detail to the report, thanks.

I lost 1 full refill yesterday and today....must kill the game or back and exit button :rolleyes:I'v got the same problem, many times per day, but while playing on auto Level IX in the Garden of Life... sent a report though the game, got an answer that the issue might be fixed with the newest update, but it happened again 10 minutes ago... :(

same here...but not in life only fear...I've got yesterday the same problem in Dismay, also.
But, today, even if I've played a lot all the 3 BNW dungeons, I didn't have any freezing problems... it might be of the fact that I didn't played the same level on repeat, just jumped to the next level on and on, and came back after reaching X. Hope that helps.

I believe there's a known issue with Dismay X - Wave 3, where the endurance talismans are on the 2 MCRs... if you don't kill the MCRs first and kill the center demon spawn (which is supposed to kill the other two) it will freeze up. Is this consistent with where you're getting the error?
FWIW, I'm not seeing any drop increase by Farming X over VII, or even VI for that matter. Might be better off staying out of X and enjoying the faster clearing on a lower level.

for me it's the wave 4 before the boss ( never see him at level X ) not with the 2 cr and big demon at the middle
But if i kill the cr before perhaps it's the same bug...15 sand to lose for another test? :p

Well it's not a bug, but a translation error. In the English version of the game it says the Alliance Generals "Command" move uses physical damage. In the German version it says "magischer Schaden" which means magical damage. That is kind of confusing for everybody that installed the game in German.

I have seen her do rare things once before as in healing the opposite team, but I don't own her so I can't confirm if this is an usual occurrence.

I can confirm that she no longer heals herself if she is revived. As far as I'm aware this happens every time. Made a few times in BNW touch and go due to this.

the purple valkyrie stunns chars who don't have a buff. seems that passives from chars like prisoner or GPD counts as buffs for her so she stunns them.
well she is not annoying enough i guess...
I faced that purple crap 3 times today and on every fight she stunned toons without buffs and/or passives.
She is getting more and more annoying everyday..
Just WON a match in PvP. When my chars showed up for winner pose game froze (APMA7). After restart, battle was counted as DEFEAT! I'm really pissed! Get your asses up and fix this!! 😡

It's hard to know when the match freezes on victory sometimes you get the win others a defeat, most times the win will be there, hopefully this will be fixed.
Just list updates and bump.

Just had a bug, used gunner choppers disable passive against assassin COTD had the debuff on him he killed one of my characters and got an extra turn.

Angel of Fear's passive is still granting an extra turn if a character with endure reaches 1 HP. Happens to me all the time although it was "fixed"
Prisoner's passive seems to block buffs (thorn shield and void shield at least)

I haven't seen prisoner blocking shield buffs, but his passive is indeed broken, sometimes works better than it should others it just doesn't and interacts in strange ways with other passives/effects.

May already be reported, but just encountered it.
Garden of Dismay IV freezes (rather loops, as the animation is still intact) once you open the dragons shield and he 'should' attack, yet does nothing
So i can't get beyond that level

Garden of dismay floor X, wave IV, if undead rescurer already died when you came to this stage it means that game freeze after your first move. Only restarting the game is works. Its So fucking annoying!!!!! Especially when you try this floor so many times and have the same bug all the time! How can we play at this buggy shit??? I m returning to the game after long period and the game have the same amount of crappy bugs.... Who wants to play this peace of bug??? I dont understand, really.. You have the list of all bugs at this tread, and so what? You do nothing too fix it asap. Instead of fix, you hype new upcoming events and another stuff... for what? Fo adding another tones of bugs to old ones???
So fucking shame, so fucking lame... screw you, i dont wanna waste my all day long for fighting with all buggy crap.

Hey Vitalz thanks for your comment, this is and old bug that was reported back when BNW launched there are some screenshots of it around, I didn't knew it was happening again as I never found it later on.
Now, understand that this is a thread created by the players not by Nodding Frog.
This is a community effort to help Nodding Frog keep track and make sure that the bugs found by players are registered, we as players have no way of knowing what has been reported and what has not, this type of compilation is a way we have to make sure that they are aware of problems and try to get things fixed as soon as possible.
From time to time I do message NF/Sparton directly or post on different threads about updates so that they can go and match or update these issues properly.
Nodding Frog has acknowledged that they review this thread and keep track when changes are reported, so that's it.
Other than that this can also help players to learn what issues might happen and probably reduce report duplication to make things clearer and easier on everyone.
I understand your frustration and I really wish this thread wouldn't be necessary and bugs were getting fixed in a timely manner, also agree they should focus on fixing the base game instead of throwing new buggy content that annoys everyone, but it is what it is.

Yes boss can do that when the shields go down and it opens, it can get a freeze like that for no reason, same can happen when boss uses the fury skill, if you notice boss tries to apply the effects before the actual fury animation happens and then it freezes as well, sometimes it seems shield effects (thorns, void) can make things worse, but it's not clear as it works sometimes others it just doesn't.
There seems to be a problem on how effects and priorities are handled by the app, that's why you can also see that characters with immunity passive get negative effects and probably can relate to freezes as you describe or the infamous PvP freeze on revival.

Used Bradata's champion today on LoL. Supposed to grant echo to himself guaranteed & possibly to allies? Well, in 4 attacks he granted it ZERO times until the kill shot, which he only granted to one ally!

I have been up against a crimson dog in PVP and it granted echo to all and a team member had echoes as well - the battle did not go well for me! LOL

I don't know, if this is intended or not, I have written about it on a post on bug report.
The game has no ending, once I beat The Beast for the first time, I got no message regarding Underworld available on hard, no Cutscene showing Beast been beaten, nothing, the game just returned to the main screen with Underworld showing a "!" next to it, and that was it.
I have made a new account and beaten the game again, same thing.

PS: This may not affect gameplay or whatever, but its disappointing nonetheless.
