Battling only stronger players always?

So ever since I got a fully leveled 4* team it seems like a good portion of the time I only get matched against players that are stronger and me. Now and then I get other players who are more or less in the same rank as I am, but most of the time I have to end up listed against peeps with 5* teams and up to 40 levels above me. Is this sort of a thing that just happens in the mid to high tier range of teams? :p Just wondering because the last 2 weeks it's been a real struggle staying merely in Duelist II!

maybe you are getting stuck playing the "invisible" players everyone is mad about?

Somehow guys with top tier teams are coasting to the top by being matched up against much lower ranking players - or so the theory goes.

guess this is just how things are :p

Though it is kinda disappointing struggling to reach a certain point in the ladder for that sweet ironite and then lose the rank because lvl 100s spot you like a deer in headlights and your opponents are all those peeps that are leagues above you :(
