When I have attacked, I have often won the battle, but in defense, they kick my ass
I know this is controlled by AI, but I want to know if there is any way or strategy to improve the defense in PvP

This is honestly the best advice I've read on this forum for a long time.

Shadow Lady, I recommend you to dedicate some time for experimenting with your defense. Try lots of different versions and you'll see what the best team is that can be built from your roster.
