...It is getting boring, it is not nice to say this of this game that I play for two years and that I dedicate time since it was released.
But honestly, there is no innovation, no new story,In addition to the countless bugs there that ruin the gaming experience but thinking about the great truth that RCarter said in his last thread, many see (and we see) play our soldier as an obligation ,as a job.
This game is part of Iron Maiden, its mobile game should represent its essence ... Maiden never bores, one does not get tired of listening to the classics or the new songs, one never has complaints because what they do is always excellent.
I'm thinking of quitting the game if this does not change, it's sad to say this Something I should enjoy, but in reality it's sometimes tedious, I do not want to leave my soldiers but if something does not make me happy I will not continue with that.
I think they will agree that it would be ideal improve the troop system, I have played other RPGS and in them you can talk to other players, why in LOTB you can not?
In addition to the large SOTS spending involved playing BNW.
I hope this will improve, but there will be no other option but to leave this ...

You must be kidding dude, these last weeks have been the ones with more updates/addition ever. We are having new minor events almost every week, lately there was the BNW release with new characters..
You probably don't remember those months when there weren't real updates and Arena wasn't yet released.
THOSE were actually boring times!
No, I think lady has a valid point in some respects: Farming pve levels every day 50 times IS boring, especially when you've been doing it for a year or more. Every single day. Now of course there have been lots of "events" (although sales promotions would be a fairer term sometimes), but apart from missions which were really good , the event is either flat out "buy stuff" or seemingly aimed squarely at the unemployed: grind levels over and over for a mere chance at some fragments, or play a huge number of arena battles, oh and better keep plodding through the troopers despite it all.
Unfortunately the pve and story arc has never been a massive part of the game and frankly I don't see what they can do about that, it's incidental to the main focus which is the combat, but perhaps the OP is looking for something where thought and tactics is rewarded ahead of grind. Frankly I'd like to see development aimed at quality of experience and not endless repetitive tasks.

That's really cool - yet it get to same thing at the end: GTD - ''Grind Till' Death'' the same or similar levels for: souls/fragments/characters/runes/shards/talismans* (* - pick your choice)...
As for the new maps - I would hold the excitement a bit - there are just 3 of them - they are looking all pretty much the same (including final bosses) + being lot buggy and expensive... Appreciate - but I won't use them much unil they got improved...
One cool change in usual grinding were the missions - because they were very specific ones...
I miss the ''challenges'' - even at the ''weaker'' maps could be great ones - like run through ''Powerslave'' with Eddie of your choice alone - you think that would be far too easy?
Cheers,

I don't disagree with what's being said here, many valid points. But devil's advocate, a new level in PVE would probably take months to develop, and for those of us crazy players, we'd have it beat in a couple days. I mean I want more and more, like everyone, but there's only so much that can be done at one time. Add in the bugs that need to be fixed, and that's a lot of work for very little payoff. BNW took a long time and I think it's really solid, but it would benefit greatly from a different set of currency ~ SoT, like the arena. Or the Multiple Trooper use, things like that which make it more manageable for the player that doesn't want to throw away $20 each week on ironite just to not let down their Troopers. Bottom line, some things need to be rethought, and new levels would be great, but let's not pretend that would solve anything for most players.
Now regarding the bugs - I've heard complaining about them since I joined, and am going to say something about it here. I develop games/apps that are smaller than this, and when you get into something of this size, making a small change can often affect other things in an adverse way. There's also no way - no matter how much you test - to truly emulate what a fanbase of 2000+ users will do and experience when you make a big update or release some new talismans, characters, etc. into the app. The majority of bugs reported here are freezes and game crashes, which I hate to say, has much more to do with older phones/operating systems than it does the app itself. It's very subject to Wifi connections - which for some of us are outstanding, and for others, that's not an option. For those with poor connections, this thing errors much more often.
And keep this in mind - in any given release, they need to cater to countless Android devices and several different sizes and OS for iOS. iOS purposely makes shit different from Android so you have to develop on two codebases for the best experience. Every update that needs to be made needs to be made to both OS. It needs to make sure it doesn't break things on BOTH, since a real easy fix on Android can be a nightmare on iOS.
Now that has zero to do with drop rates and cash grabs, which I won't address here. But the takeaway is that NF cannot possibly please everyone, and stop taking it personally. You love this game because you love the band, and the music, and the art, and everything that embodies Iron Maiden. This is a way to immerse ourselves in the world of the band that we love. Nothing is perfect, and this is pretty kickass no matter how you look at it. Your complaints aren't unwarranted, and I'm certainly not saying they all need to stop - in fact, this community helps this game get better with every concern they raise. But when your favorite bug isn't fixed on the next release, it's not a middle finger to any of you personally. And never forget that when you're putting RTTH Eddie in your lineup, you're playing as a fucking Eddie and getting to kill things with him. Metal. \m/
P.s. This community is one of the BEST parts of the game, and I mean no disrespect to any of you in any way. I'm lucky to be here with you all, enjoying this game.

A huge amen to that. If my self from 20 years ago had been shown this game, I wouldn't have believed it to be true. There are opportunities for improvement, for sure, but this game is already more than I ever would have hoped for.

I can confidently tell you (knowing shit about making games - not my pair of boots) that I am having about 15 various mobile games installed on my tablet... Some are older, some other newer... Ones requires Wi-Fi to play, the others don't - but all these 14 games have one thing in common: being STABLE... Honestly can't remember while playing some games of Rockstar for example which got crashed... So I take it as it possible to be done the game that WON'T BE CRASHING every couple of minutes and self restarting...
As for connections - again not know what the other have - yet I am playing the game ONLY at home (mine in the city and the parents' one at the countryside) where we having broadband Wi-Fi connections... Everything works perfect except LOTB far too often sadly - so it has to be the problem with the game again...
As for device - my tablet may have been 4 years old now - yet I do not find it fancy to buy new gear for every new game - game HAS TO RUN smoothly on the device I am having - while it's not - the app is lading in trash can, NOT the device... Just for LOTB still having such heavenly patience - which for sure would be long gone if the game wasn't about Maiden...
Cheers,

Dear Trooper,
I agree with your points, i also really want to see more story depth and Maiden Mythology in the game. But as others said, we will consume the story parts rightaway as soon as they release them.
I was hoping for same things for a long time, then i gave up about that. Because i realize the fact : this game is an addictive repeating madness ;)
And it should be "fun" to play, not a duty of course.
Therefore i have switched to play more casual, but otoh still sending badges to my loyal troopers as much as i can. (That's an addiction too)
So, in order to have fun with the game - we need to reduce our expectations in my opinion.
Less expectation - less pain.
My 2 cents

the same thing happens to me, my WiFi connection works perfectly so I suppose it is a problem of the game, I had this application on a cell phone that although it was not a high-end smartphone It fulfilled the requirements for LOTB to run well, presented problems with this game when with other games works excellent
Maiden is synonymous with quality, his game should also be like that.

oh well yeah, about the story the game hasn't done any step forward since the start..but i guess it takes a long time unfortunately...
Hope they are working to the nightcity and other new worlds in the meantime!

I am looking forward to Night City some day too (and Silent Planet... but I think that one's gonna be a longer wait than BNW was... we shall see ;) ) but I agree, many players will go through any new content pretty quickly.
One thing I don't understand though is why more effort wasn't put into developing new story for the extra content that has been released since the game launched: Lord of Light and Brave New World. Why no cut scenes for either of these? Couldn't we have had a little bit of plot to make these dungeons matter a little more? To give us a sense of who we're fighting and what we're fighting for? (At least, from the characters' perspectives).
LoL felt like a stopgap way of getting evo material out there, and it was alright at the time: we needed it, it came. It was basic and repetitive, but it was something new, and it was enjoyable for that... but what did we actually learn about the Lord of Light bosses themselves? Who are they? What do they have to do with Eddie? What stakes were involved? What resulted from their defeat? Story-wise, it felt like a completely wasted opportunity.
And then we have BNW... and the truth is, (ridiculous talisman drop-rates aside), I actually really enjoyed playing through the BNW dungeons... but again, why no story? During the (thousands of  ) months that it was "Coming Soon" (and kudos to the devs for for changing that to "Coming in a future update" for upcoming content, btw) we were told that Brave New World would "explain the origin of the talismans," which sounded intriguing. My mind flashed back to the Prisoner (who has long been my boy) telling Eddie and Clairvoyant about the "enormous, primordial creature in league with The Dark Lord" from whose hide he said the talismans come from, and I was interested in learning more about this beast. The write up on BNW now tells us that "An advanced civilization faces oblivion," and we need to "journey into a Brave New World to save them." Okay, sounds good... but couldn't a cut scene or two have worked wonders in terms of making the dungeon feel like (even more of) an event than it was? I mean, at least a little "hey, good on ya, buddy!" from some of those advanced folks you saved when you win, or a word or two from the Dragon King telling us how futile our quest is and how he is gonna smash us flat before the fight starts to add some drama? It was a little disappointing not to see it, despite how impressive the dungeons themselves actually were (and the Dragon Kings truly did impress me, I've gotta say... really amazing artwork, and well-implemented, all around, IMHO).
Anyway... didn't mean to write a novel here, lol but I definitely understand the desire for more story in this game, for sure. Maybe we're the minority though, these days...

Mostly everything written there
Best post around here in a while :)
True that some stories lines are missing... Beginning in this game I loved those stories it gave some meaning to things happening, Beginning theses days I'd scratch my head as why some parts even exist from a storyline point.. Although they obviously have one from game standpoint..
