Good eye! The dev silence on this over the past couple hours makes me laugh. Though there are lots of precedents for these little hints in advance, so maybe it was intentional?

Hmm interesting. But I hope they don't go back to back Magus toons myself, or back to back BNW fragment events. Maybe another BNW fragment event for this toon towards end of the year though would be nice.

As for Dev silence, NF are based in London are they not? If so I'm sure they are probably asleep right about now or out partying from all the money they made from the recent BNW events lol but in a few hours it might get interesting.

I do find it interesting, and a little strange, to have two Magus characters back to back. Not that I'm complaining, though.

Also, I believe the dev team (or at least most of it) is in BC Canada. But, I was obviously wrong about their silence, since they posted on Facebook and Twitter.

Is it giving fragments from souls. I just did 8 rare souls and I have some fragments for undead rescuer i thought event didnt start until tomorrow. I am even more confused now. Also got some legendary fragments when did one rare soul as well.

I'm sitting at 190/200 for the soul but unfortunately I can't get anymore rare souls. Hopefully I'll get something from skull quests from tomorrow till the end of the event or else the devs will face a fury spoken of only in legends.

am I the only one who think this event is horrible if it can only be gotten by rare souls. Something that is not farmable at all and can only be bought or if someone had a lot of souls stored up for whatever reason. I have tried to defend as much as I can but if this event is rare souls only its terrible. Also check the annoucements cause it also looks like event started early and anything we get now might not count.

Well Leviathan said the event had to be canceled because of data errors, but when it was still on, I put in 2 legendary souls and 1 magus soul and didn't get any fragments so it looks to be just rare souls.

Hmm I just saw the post you're referring to. Looks like this will be delayed or that its over before it even officially begun. Seems like a pretty big stuff up on their end.

I actually picked this guy up before the hoopla.

He's bugged in PvP - his curse works, but the curse icons don't appear above the opponents so there's no way of knowing if they get removed or not.

On the other hand - he's a farming machine with that passive. Both of these new Event toons have a great niche - Blue Valkyrie for BNW and Blue UR for farming.

PvP worthiness? To be determined...

Most of my Rescuer Fragments mysteriously vanished yesterday after an "error" when trying to claim a Soul in the Book of Souls.....

for those that have him already:

how does his passive (invincibility once life regen on) work?
Does that mean, once you have a PDK or PD or anyone with life regen talismans on your team, you will get the immortality?
Then he will be a tough task unless you have wrath, the clairvoyant or prisoner against him.
If his invincibiity trigger on enemy PDK or regens, then he can come in handy when fighting those PDK's in PVP.
Btw his 4* 1 stats look similar to Magus Corrupt rescuer (magic) or sentinel allied bomber boy (life) that would mean his final stats will be a ~10k life and 1.7k magic AOE damager? This would be pretty sick!

Idk how did you get to those numbers,since every characters stats scale differently with LvL. His final stats are:
HP 6024
Atk 232
Def 396
Magic 2067 (you can get over 5K if i calculated it right from the top of my head with 6 holy talismans)
MR 234
Special 238

Thanks for the stats. With that his Magic stat is way more than i calculated. Sure each character scales differenctly, but i think the difference is very small.

No word on the beginning of the event yet? I think it's good to delay the event for a week (or two), because it gives those non-paying players some time to rebuild their stack of ironite before spending it on souls again. Once the Blue Valkyre event was over i hat 10-0 ironite, now i'm back up to ~500, i think, i'm gonna need ~600-700 to buy enough souls to get him, so waiting time is good imo.
