OK, to the point.

With there being the two types of runes for each color - i had not really noticed that - so I've only been utilizing the ones that give more of a level bump. The others, while they give only about 46% of the level bump, give 70-80% relative stat bumps.

Have I screwed up my talismans not using the secondary runes? I've never seen any threads about this.

Gah.

What star level are they? Or are there runes with a different shape on them?

What star level are they? Or are there runes with a different shape on them?

I was testing a 3-star talisman with 3 star runes of both types.

for a lvl 1/30 3-star talisman, 1 3-star rune of type A (the more square shaped one) it gives the talisman 15 lvls. A type-B gives 7 lvls. That is 46% of the type A.

Lvl:
type A: 1 --> 15
type B: 1 --> 7 = 46%

For armor:
type A: 242 --> 382
type B: 242 --> 302 = 79%

attack:
type A: 42 --> 84
type B: 42 --> 60 = 71%

magic:
type A: 24 - 38
type B: 24 --> 30 = 79%

etc.

So it seems that over time, using the rune 'type B' which has slower lvling would give better final stats.

Anyone?

The one that gives 7 levels, with the J shape inscription is an evolution rune. It's used to evolve your talisman to level 5, especially if it's 3*s. The more square shaped one with the Disney D on it is used for levelling up your talisman. It can go up to 5*s.

Well would you look at that. Thanks for the clarity, still sort of getting my feet wet.
