So...how are you faring in the chase for the chopper fragments?

I’m 100 victories dow and got just 130 fragments so far, meaning i would have to get around 400 more victories to get him. i usually only play free sow but was ready to do some refills on this event. it’s just wearing on me to see such a little progress after 3 days of excessive arena battling.not mentioning that the battles get tougher the higher in the ranking you get. i think i’ll just pass on this one. at least i’ve got the trickster already.

What is your experience? do 50s actually exist in this event? am i just pulling the short straw this time? or did the developers really expect us to do 500+ victories to get this one mediocre character?

Mediocre is exactly how I would describe him. I have him as a champion but really thinking to remove him. As someone mentioned somewhere on the forum, he is gonna be good only in LoL Magus & Gunner also maybe in BNW-Garden of Dismay.

yeah, i’ve just tried yours and i wasn’t impressed at all. 1k damage in GoD and the way he runs...lame

I got him at win 227. Haven't tried him. Did get two drops of 50, so they do exist. Possible to get him with free Sow, but need a little luck to do it.

Pretty sure every char can be of a use in this game! U just have to get a good talisman set and bam!

Well, he does get 60% damage boost on the basic attack and 70% on the power move...

But i’ll let someone else try to waste 8 skill shards on him. i’ve got other,better characters to work on.(besides:i don’t have him:D )

Depends, how good is the game right now, if i have time and if i get over my dark souls addiction.

Havent played much cuz I've been busy playing other stuff, dark souls primarily, the shit is too good...

Well i guess death is part of the game, i havent died so much in ds1, surely over 100 times but not as much as i died in ds2... 435 times...

With challenge comes satisfaction m8. It was makes u wanna play more dark souls. Today i beat the dlc boss artorias for the first time, and i first tried the hardest boss in the game, manus! Which is when the game truly shines! U feel good. U git gud

Haven't seen any 50 drops, but I did get a skill shard today. So those do exist, that's cool. I'm definitely not gonna make it to get either character (trickster is possible though, close to getting him), which is really fine with me anyways. Hopefully i get some more skill shards though.

I'm about halfway into getting him, got 50 chopper fragments once so that was exciting. I've pulled 2 skill shards from the event so far in around 100 fights. I've slowed down a bit on the game in it's entirety over the last few days, but I'll be picking back up either tonight or tomorrow.

Fire up the music and hit the arena is my method of attack, can't take a good team down unless I have Wednesday 13 or the like blasting in my ear. Their new album "Condolences" is actually quite good in my opinion. Anyone hear it yet?

Took me about 250 wins to get him. Got 50 twice. Unfortunately the last 10 took me about 40 wins. In the meantime I received the Red Trickster four times and 8 skill shards. There were even plenty of rare souls, but they just dropped crap.

I got the red dude on Tuesday - still working to get the gunner (350) but only done two refills so far on ironite. Had four skill shards and several rare souls though no big drops from them. Also had 3 50 drops - two for the Warrior and one for the Gunner. Also getting the odd other drop of other fragments too (rare and gunner/assassin) so that all helps to keep it worthwhile (I think).

I think it’s a pretty good event. It’s more interesting than any of the other frag events have been (except the immortal one). And it’s way cheaper than that friggin BNW frag event. I hope they don’t ever do that again.

I didn't mind the BNW event to be honest - it was fine and new challenge - and then it was not crashing as much as it is now. The boss is just a simple enough time grind 95% of the time - you can get the odd hiccup during play but it is just a time battle and not got a lot of that given 50 troopers and the grind for upgrade runes and shards for the new characters and new talisman needed...drop rates in BNW are very poor in terms of the new talisman but I am noticing a few in PVP seem to have two sets of revive so folk are getting them.

130 wins and 230 shards. i guess i won’t make it to 500, but like others said: the skill shards (got about 3 so far) and fragments (just got a 20 Legendary frag drop!) make it worth it...

I was at 265 out of 500 fragments yesterday and won't be able to play much for a few days so I decided to convert. Got my precious soul and only a 1* sacrificial heart. I did manage to get the Warrior Trickster and he looks like he'd be more use anyway.

Finally got my Chopper. Imo his only use will be in the Gunner and Magus LoL dungeons because I lack a Prisoner.

I think his main purpose is counter vhe/immortality combo.. not that bad in the right team.. some franky guy is doing well with it on defence

Been playing my arse off and still at only 260/500. Disappointed they made an event with an insanely high fragment requirement and such a sad fragment drop rate. Plus add in all the bugs, game freezes, lost SoT, and the data would probably show the lowest character acquisition rate of all time. What I hope does not happen is the Devs up Chopper's stats or scaling and then becomes a super valuable character that only a tiny percentage of players have, thereby creating a huge imbalance in PVP.

260 wins in with 455 frags to show for it. Its the Spartan 300 for me without near as good rewards for it. Chalk it up to poor RNG I suppose. Now to decide if i push for the last 55 or try and get more than 4 hours of sleep before work. >_<
