What to do with my pile of skill shards?

I'm trying to figure out what I should do with my skill shards. So far, I have more than enough characters fully sharded, and besides I have some 60 skill shards waiting but I actually have no character that I can really use so to shard him. What is the best strategy?

I guess you can just wait for some new characters worth the skillshards..

I got more than 90 stored and most of my chars already fully sharded..i just keep collecting them until there's a new char i get that i intend to use in battle and therefore to apply shards on
