December is upon us, Troopers!

My god that looks like a lot of events you guys just keep these things coming. Looking forward to see what some of these are going to be like. I think I need to start stocking up on even more resources to prepare for some of these.

By the looks of it, Edward the Great (who I'm assuming is the "Monarch") will possibly be obtainable by an arena frag event? I'm excited! I'm also hoping that the "Holiday of Life" event is free entry into GoL, like Fear Friday The 13th was w/ GoF back in October. There also seem to be some nice new toons on the way; Valors, the Three Kings, some sort of Raider, and the aforementioned Edward the Great (who I have been eagerly waiting for since he was teased a little while ago). Bring it on! :D

Just hoping Coal Giver Eddie is obtainable in one of these events. I am thinking we are getting a free day of Garden of life like we did with garden of fear.

Very cool! The Fear Friday event was one of the best events ever. I really hope Holiday of Life is the same type.

I was going to throw out 1000 ironite to open up my last 50ish character slots but I guess I'll hold off on that for another month.. well time to spend the rest of the week trying to guess when the events will start.

Looks like it could be an Arena event between Christmas and New Year then? If it is then I am out already. Got family coming to Australia from the UK to visit for a couple of weeks. This is all hypothetical as we don't know for sure but I might get punished and miss out on a new character because I can't give my life to the game over Christmas/New Year.

Great news and very interested to see what we get. I am kind of hoping that this sort of approach to the game is a monthly thing to keep everyone interested as this is certainly a positive way forward for the game and to help keep things moving. Most other games I dip into have this approach as well so glad to see these changes across November and December.

the best strategy for PvP events is to put a very low defense team together. Only 1 character is best. The other 3 slots should be empty.

What's the point?

Everybody is winning and getting the rewards (fragments).


The rankings are not important for events and collecting fragments.

I also hope the arena event isn't around Christmas/New Year's. All the traveling etc... will make any substantial game play near impossible.

Where's Night City and The Silent Planet?

I'm suspecting something new will show up in the next update. Since the last update mentioned new Talismans in unannounced game content, but that content never showed up last update, it may show up in this update, which could be on Christmas day or something. That'd be when I pushed a new update.


When will first event start?

I've marked them all on my calendar on the days that I believe they'll start on based on what I know about the meaning behind some of the titles and what would make sense. It's not exact but it gives me a bit of ease. So I think the Valor event might start on the 4th. Since that's when the warrior LoL dungeon is open. But sooner would be better.

This is a pretty good strategy. Although I don't see enough people who actually do this, for that reason if I believe there will be an important event coming up, I'd take a week or two away from PvP and let my rank drop to the lower divisions. That way I'd have more sands of war to use and I'll have more easy and quick wins.

I also would like to know about this because I'm ready for an Ultimate Sacrifice and it'd be a damn shame to sacrifice all my good characters just to find out if I had waited a day later it would have paid off more.

Personally, I've had good luck waiting for sacrifice events. For example I had enough for an ultimate sacrifice and a vortex fill before the 2x chance for 4* character event. That sacrifice gave me enough characters for another ultimate and another and another. Filled up the vortex 3 times in that event and scored lots of new guys like rainmaker and cyborg (finally) along with VHE #3 and #4, Rainmaker #2,#3 and #4 as well as Prisoner #2 and #3, on top of at least 25 4* characters. And close to 50 skill shards. Good results saving for the Pumpkin sacrifice event too.

My advice, if you can wait, would be to hold off until the Raider's sacrifice event. Plus that gives you time to finish leveling up characters autofarming instead of using shards.

There are enough, believe me. I decided to do this event only on fighting low defenses, to see if it‘s possible. And it was possible. My statistics so far:
Attack: 233/233
Defense: 1/197 (must have been a game crash, sorry to the guy it happened!)
Fragments: 820
Did 4 refills with ironit and every day every possible revenge.

i still can't find VHE,used many assasion/gunner souls but never found VHE,i am losing hope...

Close to an exalted which will probably put me at vortex fill... I guess I have to wait a few weeks for the sacrifice event. I really hope these aren't super grind grind grind events... Grinding is only cool in skateboarding.

Another load of crap and bugs,
i say it everytime Nodding frog are nothing but thieves and i dare say the december events will be another showcase of bugs and bullshit
i wont be playing soon as i get trooper eddie tomorrow on reset im uninstalling this shit for long needed break....

and FFS im sick of getting dc after killing dragon king (lvl 10) in new world only to get no loot and new game data available auto reset

Looks interesting, as usual.
I'd say this month's fragment event character is the Sentinel Corrupt Droid, which is actually a nice choice. His best days in the arena are behind him but he's on 2/3 of my BNW team.
Looking forward greatly to Holiday of Life if it is what I think it is. Hoping the Raider's Sacrifice Event is as good as the Pumpkin Sacrificial Slaughter.
12 Days of Christmas I expect a bunch of small giveaways similar to the Seven Deadly Gifts.
I also agree with what others are saying. Hopefully that arena event doesn't extend past Christmas.

No clue what that Valor soul could be. The BoS fragment event seems to be some thing where opening souls will get you fragments, like with the Magus Undead Rescuer.

The one thing that concerned me was the Book of Souls Event which will most likely wipe out all my stash of Souls, leaving me with nothing for the Sacrifice event, or am I approaching this incorrectly?
Should I not sacrifice the souls during the Book of Souls Events and instead try to level them up? I don’t have much slots to keep a lot of toons...sigh!

Really excited for the raiders sacrifice event (even though I'm a 49ers fan...) I have enough to get two vortex's and hopefully a 3rd from those rewards along the way. I just hope to get some new Eddies even if it's only one... VHE?!
