I finally completed Hell on Madness! Game crashed at gold chest but when I logged back in I had the Legendary Shard. Turned it in and got... 4* Angel of Strife (green). Bummer already had her.

i think a legendary soul should not give you a 4*, plus its kinda useless cuz u already need to have a full maxed out team to defeat the beast on madness, still collecting rares is fun.

Offtopic but since a soul gives u 1*-3* And mostly drops 2* shouldnt it make since for rare souls that drop 3*-5* drop 4* usually? Ye ik best idea ever

i just used them as fillers, i didnt spent any items on them, im hoping they do something in the future maybe can banish or exchange them for shards, i believe Lamia said something a while ago that its best to keep hold of eddie dupes

Omg the beast is the easiest thing ever...

Sentinel phase was the hardest imo, but when he number of the beasted me my team was vanished by the nomad, it missed everyone and then i used alliance general's crit buff and soldier's fury to deal 34k then one last 12k by the nomad to finish him

I was pretty excited to beat underworld madness today. I've only pulled a few 4* characters from rare souls, here's a chance to get something great! Open up the soul and a Pharaoh Dog pops out. Not a bad character, except that I pulled one way back when playing through Allied Kingdom. Curse the RNG! It would be nice if it at least gave me a character that I didn't have.

Finally I beat the beast! The Assassin phase is the worst, steal buffs, immunity and he hit hard!
But well, with my Magus Allied Soldier, my assassin axis soldier and a help by trooper with a Pharaoh Eddie, I finally kick his ass!
So I pulled a Child of the damned 5*, the warrior one.
Thats pretty cool! I will now farm for some Strenght Fierce Talismans...

Taunt is useful to stop foes from using abilities. All green talisman slots is useful as your health will be high and you can use Paralysis, Energy or Blind Talisman for more added effects in your basic attacks.

Do you have any Talisman suggestions? The green spot obviously gets a Health Overwhelming and the red spot a Strength Fierce, but what about the others? He does true damage so maybe the Vampiric or Resistance can fill those. Or just pile on more Strength Fierce?

4* Warrior Troll - at first my feelings were mixed - happy that I've got character I didn't own just yet and a bit dissapointed that it wasn't decent Eddie... But when I found out what the red guy can really do and how useful he can be (haven't played with him before) spent the evo shards I was saving to upgrade my best Eddie - CR and almost instantly maxed him to 5* and now upgrading the talismans and planning to do the same with skill shards to make a real champ out of this guy :)

Hang on to him, park him for now and wait until the new Sacrifice feature comes out, maybe you will be able to trade him towards getting a better character. that's my plan for now, i am not spending any soul shards at all, only banking them until the new feature is live to see how it works.

ASSASSIN PYRO SOLDIER is the worst 4-5* character, this guy is a total mistake.

As a assassin, should deals physical and magic damage or true damage, but he is only magic damage guy, and his basic is single target. His power attack is AOE but scales based on enemy's special, what's the point, besides Gunners almost all the other characters has about 238 special, it means he can only do decent damage towards Gunners.

And his talisman, 1 red, 1 blue, 1 purple, and he can only do magic damage, so 2 of 3 are useless.

This game has several poor design characters, among all of them, this guy is the worst.

Feel sorry for you, i got a Angel of Strife from legendary shard, very disappointing too.

Never got any cool 4 or 5 star character drops the whole game. The first one I got turns out to be a guaranteed dupe that had no biz being offered in random spawn since it was a plot-based character.

I'm pretty sure that my legendary soul gave me a 5* Vampire Hunter Eddie. Not my favorite character, but it did give me the only toon I have that can resurrect, and I always have him in the back of my party for that reason, so I suppose I am thankful for that.

His passive grants you the perfect hits which is mandatory upon some quests in the game... But if you're done with the game - dunno if much excititing skill tho...

Yes, he came as a 4*. I really haven't used him. I was debating whether I should use the Skill Shards that I have on him and use him as the trooper I share. I have a plan where I'm saving all the Skill Shards I have. When I get around 15 or so I'm going to start trying for a Pharaoh Eddie. He will take 23 Skill Shards to fill. I already have the 6 Talismans I want to use & they're maxed out. I'm trying to stick with the plan, but who knows? Right now Desert Marauder is just a place where I store Talismans. :)

I tought he is weaker than SE, but I was sooooooooooo wrong... Just placed all of SE's talismans (three boost will and three strength fierce) on him, and with no skill shards, barrage deals double damage :D I was pleasantly surprised :3 Then I looked, stats are actually higher than on SE :D

Completely understand you ... I'm sitting on quite a few rarre souls and 2 GUN/ASS ... only opening the normal 5 ones a day for the achievement. Since the achievements were introduced I only had one "red experience" with a normal soul. It was a warrior Soulless Demon that I already have ...

Then I started playing around with it, and really come to like him. No, he doesnt just plug into any team. In the right one though, hes a nice asset.

I just see this know. The one "hyped" PSS was me as far as i know, so i'd like to answer this :cool: Yes, i agree Death Dog is a good character and many people don't know how to play the game - which i don't bother. Someones play better and someones not, like the all areas of life. It is fine for me.

But i don't agree about Warrior PSS. Because when i "hyped" it, it deserved the "hype" back in old days when we even didn't get fierce talisman nerf slap in the face, along with other nerfs. We didn't had more characters like we have currently & and it was one of the best char at low-tier (1* star) that any player can obtain easily. With hitting more than 5.000K AOE and healing in same time, have been a lifesaver for me & also for lot of players back in the day. So i can't see any "over" hype here.

Warrior PSS may not be worth to Skillshards currently, but it's still worth for leveling up to 5* and still can carry many beginners from early-game to the end-gaming. It is just fun to find out hidden gems and share with community here. But unfortunately we don't see many new threads about chars nowadays, because focus of players changing with each new update. I would really like to see new threads about "hyping" any character that not "hyped" before. So don't stop the hype! :cool:

Btw for PVP players, what did you guys got from Legendary Soul purchased with Iron Coins? I am not sure to spend my hard-earned iron coins for another 4* dupe :confused:

Funny thing is, this is the BEST soul item you can purchase in the game and it still gives you a DUPE. And i know i am not the only one here. I already gave up bothering about rare soul drops. Because i don't believe that RNG of the game is made for pure randomness.

It is well programmed "randomness" to keep players searching for desired character, and well. Buying more items to win the jackpot.

Okay, I can relate to Rare souls even they are not "Rare". I don't bother anymore.

But I don't think this item deserves "Legendary" name on it. This is not legendary. Getting a DUPE is not legendary when you are missing a lot of specific 4*-5* characters. This is not randomness. Its very clear that this RNG is very well programmed to give this results.

Now it is turn for giving up on Legendary Soul for me. What is left?

Currently, only single reliable item in the game is skillshard for me - until i see a hard nerfing wave. Then there will be no motivation left to move forward in the game for me.

on my second Tablet (Samurai) i managed to get past the Beast in madness. (i was halting it a long time just before wrath of the beast (in german "Zorn der Bestie") as i did not see the "legendary soul"-reward, which was before the archievment rebuilt-patch. Then i did beat wrath and saw my legendary soul-reward popping up. Now with only 6 levels away it took me no time and (5 trooper pharaohs) to beat the beast there, too. Not everything at 3 skulls and even with reviving at the beast (wich lowered the 50 ironites to 40 ... didn't care) and got me:

the Assassin Corrupt rescuer. From a trooper i knew she seemed pretty powerful and her energy-reset on the enemy may come handy fighting bosses. I'm fine with her.
Next step: beating the 1000 secret locations (only 140 left) on this tab and 49 more 5* characters on my main-account.

Hey mate, what good is the Desert Marauder for? I read his skills stats and while he does have a passive for granting "perfect shots" to all allies at the start of the battle, I don't see any other value for him. Any thoughts, insights?

well, the passive would help for auto farming, but it's real use is in PVP - since defense AI isn't good at getting perfects (& thus triggering talisman skills like freeze) he's rather useful. I don't know that his other stats are anything special.

His basic attack can be devastating too. Single enemy, sure, but can do a lot of damage, specially if a critical strike triggers.

well, it may take some time to fully test her (at lv100), as i'm at zero purple 3* shards and i may have little time to spend on lol vii playing.
I'm currently massively playing 4 SoT Levels (Kingdom of Sands Madness) to get through with all troopers as quick as it gets. Yet sometimes the Secret locations drop me a few stones.
From damage standpoint (by using a trooper version of her, fairly good equipped), her damage seems good-average. Not as good as Corrupt General/Wickerdog Queen or Gunner Bomber Boy, but ok.
Her power move - resetting the enemy energy points to zero might come in handy at boss fights or PVP and her passive (seal 1 random enemy move) seems good as well.

it's not only you , the new shit loot system give you only dupes to force you to buy souls, after many test it's true!
But if you buy souls you have same shit, it's totally stupid and force players to leave the game.
If you have a good toon you have it 2-3 times and never a new one.

I think (correct me if I'm wrong!) blade685 is confusing Assassin Corrupt Ox Cultist with Sentinel COC. The Sentinel drops at 3* while the Assassin drops at 4* and comes with a passive ability as well - on paper it looks decent.

R1CK, that droid is still good. Still good in some cases, the immunity comes in handy, and I really love him for the number of the beast in campaign mode. Helps with that final turn.

I turned in 7 various rare souls of color and got nothing but cash, but on the legendary soul I also got the CR Eddie which is my first.

Glad I got him for his fury move and the Madness Lightbringer stage. I always use troopers for that and now don't have to rely on a trooper having him.

Last month I got Samurai Eddie with the legendary so I'm 2 for 2.

Can't complain.

Now I'm really hoping to get Pharaoh Eddie. Maybe I can rent BillLion's while he's chilling.

Scott, Wickerman is a beast for farming as both attacks are AOE and deadly when paired with other physical attackers. He is staple for me with the Red Bat and Soldier Eddie.

I redeemed my 1000 SL legendary soul tonight and got Visions Eddie. Only my second native 5* drop ever, so I'll take it. I know he has a legend behind him ("f'n Visions Eddie") from the early days of the game, but I don't know the story. I'll have to catch up on that.

This was my third legendary soul. The first got me another Regular Eddie (ouch!) for beating the beast on madness. The other came from the arena store and got me an AOP that I didn't yet have.
